Mad respect for this song, mother had brain cancer passed away in surgery Feb 91. Sometimes education fails or the tech isn't as advanced. Bald head and knit cap and no words necessary. Her memory always remains. The kids in the video was an awesome portal of what it's like when you feel helpless of a situation you have zero control of. I see it as a story of frustration and not one of anger and hate.

Some of you really don't understand the video do you? Allow me to explain.

The mom has cancer, so the kid contacted all of her co-workers and had them all shave their heads to support her. The scenes with him kidnapping them and smashing their cars and stuff is just the mom's imagination. She finds all these things around his room and it makes her imagine these scenarios because she's a mother and she worries. The kid didn't shave his own head because he wanted it to be a surprise when she got to work.

I have loved this song since I heard it and the same with the video, the video had me in tears. My aunt died from breast cancer and out of shame she wore a wig every day even in the hospital till she couldn't put one on anymore. I wish someone could have done this for her to show her she was still beautiful.
