Rolling Stone--2006
NogginToboggan began in the summer of 1996. Jeff, Jeremy and Mike met at an ice cream social. They started practicing together and became good friends. In 1997, Bryan joined the band and soon realized he didn't need them; Noggin then recorded a 13-song EP at Moon Studios, and success followed shortly. In the meantime Bryan's solo career with the Mexican mafia as a drug mule was taking off. The band had 1,000 CDs pressed and distributed under harvey's records and it sold out. It is impossible to get this album; not even the band has a copy!
The band played many shows as they matured. When 1998 rolled around, they signed onto Bettie Rocket Records. In March 1999 they released a second album, "Snapcase"; the band was unhappy with both the cover and the title. Finally, the band started getting some of the recognition it deserved.
"Snapcase" sold well, so well that the band had to wait a year to release their second album, "Your Days Are Numbered'. In their spare time between writing new material, recording it and touring, the band came up with the idea and eventually got a punk Valentine's Day compilation album made, which was released by their label, Bettie Rocket.
Since they released "Your Days Are Numbered", the band has gone through two lineup changes. Their original drummer Mike left the band to pursue a high profile position on Wall Street, pencil pushin' and paper chasin'. Mike was replaced by Nick, who was found "down at fraggle rock...clap, clap" sleeping on the job. During the European leg of the summer 2000 tour, it was discovered that Nick had narcolepsy and would fall asleep during every other song. Noggin asked him to leave, but he was asleep, so they just kicked him out. (Somewhere back there rich played for, like, five seconds, cuz that's about as long as he could keep the beat.)
Jeff is currently married to his long time sweetheart Kim and is a phlourishing photographer, soon to become the first pregnant man. (He rides a f@%$ing scooter.)
Jeremy continued to book world tours for himself. He pitched it as "spoken word", but it mostly consisted of balloon animals and hand puppets. There was that dark year of opening up for Carrot Top in Sin City. Coining the phrase: "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!" turned out to be the real mother load. With newfound success and an endless supply of dick pills, Justin's one and ONLY sister found him simply irresistable. They are still married.
Justin has since rolled three cars, survived a failed common law marriage, lost his house, his dog, a s***load of CD's, and returned to california only to kiss The Home Depot's corporate ass. (I heard it's awesome to live in your parents' spare bedroom at 30.) He is currently receiving high marks in his computer aided drafting class.
Jeremy's still bangin' the drummer's sister!

robots
Noggin Toboggan Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The song "Robots" by Noggin Toboggan paints a bleak picture of a future in which robots have taken over and humanity is fighting for survival. The lyrics express the singer's despair and sense of isolation, as they wonder if anyone else sees the danger that is approaching. The line "in these eyes they're all the same" refers to the fact that the robots all look identical and are tirelessly carrying out their mission to destroy humanity.
The chorus of the song is a call to action, as the singer urges the listener to join in the fight against the robots. The line "your days are numbered now" is a direct warning to the listener that they are not safe and that time is running out. The bridge of the song is a plea for a hero to step forward and help defeat the robots before it's too late.
Overall, "Robots" is a dark and urgent song that reflects the fears and concerns of a society that is increasingly reliant on technology. It is a cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked technological progress and the importance of staying vigilant in the face of potential threats.
