Maybe..., released in March 2009, is intended to be, to some extent, a revival of the pop-punk sound between the years 2000-2004. Examples of influences include but are not limited to Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, The Early November, Brand New, and Relient K among others, and the respective albums they released in that time period. There is also a subtle tinge of various indie-rock, more evident in some tracks than in others.
The album was written in its entirety by Randall Ryan Mentzos at the age of 16, and recorded two years later with the contribution of Steve Miskolczi on drums at Nightsky Studios in Waldorf, MD.

BAND BIO, ACCURATELY AND COMPREHENSIVELY DEPICTED BY THE FANS:
Northbrook is a pop-rock band from College Park, MD that will make sex on your face. Their album "Maybe..." is up for free download on their MySpace page. It also will make sex on your face. If you like sex on your face, this is the band for you.
The first 1000 people to purchase Maybe will be entered in a draw to win a beginner's taxidermy kit, complete with starter roadkill squirrel.
The Frontman, of Northbrook, Ryan, is indeed related to the United States president Barack Obama, making his full name "Ryan Obama". He has no middle name. He also picked out the white house dog.
Andrew would like to remind douchebags everywhere that they are in fact, not on a boat.
The name "Northbrook" comes from the river in lead singer, Ryan BLAX's, back yard. Ryan built the river when he was 6 using all the money he has. It's a river of cash that sits behind his 10,000$ recording studio where he crafted the 7,000$ pop-punk album, Maybe.... He put this album up for free because he doesn't need any more money and doesn't want his drummer to have any either.
Ryan is the only person in the world who dislikes the lovely butterfly. What a dick.
Andrew has a REALLY big penis. True story.
Ryan is a risk taker when he plays Pokemon. He used a Jumpluff to catch all the lengendary Pokemon the first time he ever beat a GSC game. Jumpluff would be first in his party so if Entei or somebody decided to show up he could put them to sleep right away and capture them. That's crafty, I tell you.
Ryan is famous for his name dropping of Dred Scott and unecessary AP rants. Another little known fact is that he is a wannabe hipster into avant garde fusion jazz with beat boxing thrown in.
If Ryan didn’t already know he was listening to Radiohead on his headphones, he would bet himself $100 that he was listening to Radiohead on his headphones.
Ryan is so punk rock, Malcom X actually issued an apology claiming that Ryan was "The Real African Badass" and that the entire Black Power movement is nothing compared to Ryan's guitar stylings.
Seriously though, Andrew's dick is enormous. In his imagination. If only he were black like Ryan.
Ian is the inventor of the world's first electric mouth harp. Unfortunately, due to the conduction of a wet mouth, poor wiring around a metal instrument, and a car battery hookup, Ian now suffers from short term memory loss, violent episodes of twitching, and is unable to speak as his tongue has been cauterized to his lower lip.

This music video has always been one of my favourites. Saw it when the video first came out, I must have been 14. Somehow it always stuck with me, this Indonesian guy, dancing and loving his job, in very poor conditions, and just being happy. This video should have so many more views. Such an underrated song.
