This song came out back when a lot of people in my family passed, so it has that extra sad association for me. Just lost my aunt today, my last one… she found out less than a month ago that she had cancer. The few times we visited her since then don’t seem enough, life can happen so fast. Man, this song takes me back to all the midnight driving I did on Hwy 90 in Pass Christian, Miss… Listening to music like this makes me very thankful to go chill with my elders on a Sunday morning… Because, when they’re gone, they are gone and you won’t get to tell them how much you appreciate and love them for the guidance that they give you… As I got older, I finally realized how important it was for me to see them, while they was still living on earth… God rest his soul, my grandpa was my biggest hero because, everything I know to survive in life was because of him… I owe everything to him, everything…🙏🏾😢😔

I purchased this CD the day of release, this song quickly became my favorite, reminds me of my childhood, I sent a copy to my brother that was in Iraq during Desert Storm…….we lost our parents 18 months after, very deep song….
