@Nate Myers There we’re not necessarily going to be unloading liquor. Second, if you’ve ever seen a photo for baseball games in that time they all had fedoras on and jackets to give you insight. Back then their best wasn’t a daily suit but rather a tux

@Nate Myers yes they all wore vests and suits with hats. They didn’t have sweat pants lol. All mob guys dressed like that. Especially here in Chicago and in NYC.

he also worked w/ Corman on 'Bloody Mama' (not factual, but they're portrayed to be pretty freaky), an outstanding crime film, where Shelley Winters plays Ma Barker. Dern was a bad guy in that for sure. Herman Barker(Don Stroud) didn't like him much. but his brother brought him home from his latest stretch in prison. DeNiro I think, plays Lloyd, the glue sniffing junkie. just a regular poor family Wintering in a rental cottage in Florida in the Great depression, the toughest times the USA has ever seen, w/ their brand new cars, and no legal source of income. they say "living well" is the best revenge, hell.,if half the family wasn't in prison, they may have put up a more serious fight .an actual gun battle .the FEDS got there at a good time, w/ only one gunman inside, as 'MA' didn't engage in firefights in real life. unless her son(which one was it?) told her , "just hold it real tight, Ma, and aim at the FBI." I think that's possible, being outgunned, and all. but she normally stayed out of any talk, or even suggestion of crime. even though the FBI spread a bunch of lies about her posthumously, I take my hat off to them for all of a sudden using Tommy guns against Tommy guns. it was only a few months since they were taught to use firearms instead of just checking prints, license plates, and such.

Lol there was seven victims in the svd massacre but on your thumbnail video preview thing you have a picture of pete gusenburg twice, upper left corner AND in the center. Lol but I don’t mean to nitpick, it’s just I understand it’s hard to find any useful, reliable, authentic photos of Reinhard Schwimmer, the Optician who was the north side gangs “front man” who they used when the gang needed to a accomplish certain tasks like opening a bank account or purchasing a house or car or business l, things that were off limits to the rest of the gang who all had criminal convictions on their records. Reinhard Schwimmer was an unlikely “hanger-on” who apparently despite his operating his own clinic also had a disreputable side as he likes to pass himself off as an ophthalmologist (eg an eyeball doctor) rather than just an optician (an eyeglass lens maker and fitter) a huge difference in amount of medical training and overall prestige.

Another posted video here on YouTube (perhaps taken down since I last viewed it) had a photo of Schwimmer. In that photo, he appeared to be exactly what he was: a non-criminal, or non-gangster, with a youngish, innocent-looking face.
