Ofcourse he didn't clearly say whether they have used that software before in the ranch, but given the context, its safe to assume its their first time. And the vendor clearly meant these errors were uncommon with the software being used elsewhere.

Why would you expect them to? This investigation wasn't meant to be a collaborative one involving the public in the first place, so I'm not expecting them to release the data to the public.

Also, just because its on history channel and you think they are throwing unnecessary drama in it, doesn't necessarily undermine its validity. None of that is mutually exclusive to its validity, especially when you consider the fact that plenty of scientists and specialists etc are risking their reputation by doing this investigation. Its unlikely for them to sell a lie.

So all evidences so far shown points to some anomaly that can't be merely explained away by random coincidences based on terrestrial explanations.

Even if you think its not sufficient, the logical position would be take a neutral stance, not assume they are selling a lie for the ratings.

I can attest to experiencing a number of UAP sightings over the course of my life.

Let me tell you all about one in particular. Well, two to be precise.

In the city of Ghent in Belgium, I was sat under the dark blue evening sky with a couple of friends I had made there.

I had fallen into story telling mode whilst watching the stars come out. My companions listened good naturedly, as I recounted the details of of a previous UAP experience.

I was just at the apex of the reminisce, when what I thought was a star in the sky above, flashed brightly for a moment, then disappeared completely. Like when a light bulb blows out!

I focused on that area of sky and vocalised my surprise whilst pointing a finger. A brief moment later, a light, seemingly of the same source, reappeared a short distance from the original location, wiggled a little bit on the spot, then shot off to the side and into oblivion like a bullet from a gun.

I can't tell you how, but I know it was reacting to what I was saying. I really felt like it was watching me.

When you're looking at the stars in the sky, some of them may not be astral bodies at all. Some of them look back at you.

Reality is incredible.

This season was slightly confusing because of the timescale taken for the shoots, and it comes out in the dialogue. But why is it that we'll have to wait for another year, when it's clear that Brandon wants to move on with the dig? As an professional engineer, I am frustrated with how they are treating the evidence that they uncover. They sit around the table and speculate long before the data is fully analyzed. Send that 3D topographic file to a university computer science dept. or better yet, make it public. Let the computer geeks have at it.

That mapping is done by means of "points being collected" by a camera for 3d mapping. That means any solid particle would reflect back to the camera and in doing so be captured as a point of reference to be mapped. Now, I have flown (gliding) in the south of Namibia (with almost exactly the same landscape) and found that the thermals over there carry sand and dust particles picked up from the surface hundreds of meters into the air. The closer you are to the surface the bigger and more prominent the particles are. In the late afternoon sun, the light reflects from the sand/dust particles, and one can clearly see the same form of chimney-like structures all over the place. I am 99.9% convinced that this is precisely what was captured here with this 3d mapping system. (Let me add here that you do not necessarily see thermals unless you have the instrumentation to indicate these.)

What the show fails to mention is that its one entire rim of the basin, this phenomenon isn't limited to Skinwalker Ranch. Every Ranch that side of the basin has the same issues. They just focus on Skinwalker due to the name and who owned the property previously and what they conducted. Everyone in the area will tell you this stuff happens on every ones land on that side.

Depending on the software there are artifacts, but usually, it's from the program blending two structures together. That said, that blending goes way down to the point it becomes non-existent with the more images you use. In this case, having used software like this before, those structures should not exist. I'd say maybe a dust devil for the lower one could be a reasonable explanation, but not foolproof.

Once you saw this, why wouldnt you order up a second drone mapping by another outfit who is unaware of what you produced?

This is so true, I was watching a program many years ago showing an old map of the world.
The map was created by our ancestors.
The map of this world showed at least 8 portals over planet earth.

@@redghost6386 Repeatability implies (but doesn't prove) that it a property of the physical universe. There is a lot of uncertainty if you are outside of controlled lab conditions. If it is random or worse, trickster behavior then a sentient entity may be responding to your tests, you wont get repeatable results.

I really like the fact that the history channel keeps showing this kind of shows since several years ago, they have not quit talking about the subject and keep asking questions.
Now that I am older I still have the same questions I had when I was a kid.
Some regular people found some statues in Mexico that were about alien stuff, one was an alien hugging an indigenous man, another people found many statues carved with alien stuff, and I am really glad that the smithsonian does not have them, because they would hide them.

The smithsonian took control of the giant's skeletons found in my area in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Old newspaper articles in the Press and Sun Bulletin even presented articles of these skeletons found. Then, they all disappeared and the museum claims they never had them. With the countless communities bearing witness to the skeletons, there is no doubt they were real and exist but are hidden by the smithsonian.

Sensor is hitting something invisible, recognizes it on radar, but ends up just taking pictures of what's behind it because it's invisible. So in the mapping it looks like a clump of dirt in the air because that's what it's seeing through it when mapping those radar points.

I'm pretty sure their using a combination of different instruments one of which is lidar or light detection ranging or laser imaging what your suggesting is impossible when using lidar it's far more likely that the light in that one are is being distorted which can only happen if there is something there that's refracting the light which is to bizarre for me to even speculate how that can be possible

It's sounds like they're using a program to reconstruct a 3D scene just with photos, so I don't think they're actually using any sort of lidar scanner. This sort of 3D reconstruction with images usually always has some sort of weird glitch like this because it doesn't actually know the distances and is just guessing using perspective changes. It's pretty funny how far they're stretching this though.

One thing I would like to add is that this area appears to be in a very Mineralized area that flowed from Yellowstone previously. And is on an older Continental Rift of two different Continental Land Masses that combined from Western Pangean Coast & Eastern Lumerian Coast. Which Yellowstone poured large amounts of materials on top of. Yellowstone has sent tremendous amounts of Magma Elemental Materials all the way down to South American Coastal Bordering areas, and also up into Alaska & the Yukon, as well as most all of the top level Mountain Regions in the Western United States. There is also a large Salt Lake nearby that may be helping to amp up Electro Magnetic Fields in the entire area, including the large Mesa Region East of Salt Lake City. This may be why the area was chosen to Operate in by Cosmic Forces. I love the show and I'm glad Dr Taylor has mentioned in a recent interview that he will soon be going to the ranch for another three months of research. That being said, I have to say that I hate the way History channel positions the show in the fringes, as always. I mean, "alien portals"? Come on! They did not mention, at any moment, that they found an alien portal. Dr Taylor only briefly hypothesized the idea of evidence of a portal, he never said that the evidence is enough to prove such claims. And he never mentioned what the origin of the purported portals are. How History Channel and the show producers don't see that this type of click bait is a disservice to the show is beyond me.

What I want to know is what the imagery device sees that the human eye can't? Is it infra red? Ultra Violet? Or something completely different? Why can it be seen at some angles and not at other (meaning it's two dimensional, I assume) angles? Can it's detection be adjusted by the user and how much? Also, he kinda danced around the frequency of the anomally. He said it's not common. But was that in reference to skinwalker ranch, or anywhere else it's been used?
Understand my question is the shows objective. Is it for entertainment, ratings, documentary, or..? Producers are experts at hyping up nothing's. Sorry but until they can show straight up evidence, without throwing in the drama too, I have to think their mind is focusing on ratings, and not so much on the truth.

My husband is an astrophysicist and he is fascinated by this program. I tried to interest him in ancient aliens sometime ago but as soon as someone mentioned the words ancient aliens he would fall asleep instantly. He believes that everything in this program is accurate, he has top-secret clearance and works for a defense sub contractor and is amazed by the findings. His specialty is IFF, I understand all sorts of things about frequencies and stuff and I can’t understand a single thing he says when he talks about his job which he rarely does because there is very little he can discuss with me or anyone else. We are very very very anxiously awaiting the new series. And he does understand that many of the findings that are discussed on the show are related to technology that cannot be disclosed (that they are using on the program), because it’s classified. So some of the findings that they discuss, to people who are not knowledgeable in the field sometimes seem to be a little sketchy, but because of his education and training he can fill in the gaps.

Best show on History Channel and this is also extremely important that this research is done and released to the public. I knew of the ranch prior to the show, but I'm glad the show is shining a beacon to the discoveries to be learnt. So much of our fundamental understanding of existence and reality itself, the perception of which will all change in the coming years and the next couple of decades. All of it ties together. Religious truths from different perspectives will meet cutting edge physics and mathematics. The two are actually compliments. They're echos being explained incompletely of one another.

They only conduct their experiments during the summer months since Dr. Taylor has another job. Plus it can get very cold in northern Utah over the winter with a lot of snow. The ranch attendants stay year round though and it also allows the investigator time to comb through the mountains of data that they accumulate.

The discussion of the portal(s) is important. On the episode about the Homestead 2 sealed concrete room in the basement with 2' thick walls and no entrances....it was clear to me, that it was designed to keep something from getting out. Just my opinion but with the knocking that the caretakers heard coming from the basement, a portal was opening in that basement so in the past, they walled it up so something couldn't attack them.

Ive always wondered if the ghost hunters could photograph the dimension they are in better by using the laser light technique used for a hologram. Maybe that could be a new step toward better shots in a fourth dimension as it is with a three dimension hologram photograph. I would like to see more interest in homestead two, since several anomalies were captured there. Are these buildings viable, or can they be removed to open the area for research? As for the anomalies on the mesa, I think sand and dirt devils are a possible mundane explanation and should be ruled out before jumping to the portal explanation. A repeat scan is definitely in order to rule out dirt devils and other mundane causes.
I’m not a scientist but I’m interested in science and love the technology that is being tried to find answers. Good work! Brenda from Arkansas

After all the incidents around homestead 2, they need to develop equipment to protect themselves from the anomaly. They can go inside a silo to protect themselves but they can't put a Magneto helmet on to protect themselves from gamma waves. It baffles me that a metal tank can save them but they haven't thought about putting something over the ones susceptible from the radiation.

If there’s a portal there, or two, it would seem to me that the equipment was maybe seeing these portals refracting light and distorting the background behind it. Making it look somewhat like a muddled mix of colors from the surrounding area. I think it’s possible that the 3d imaging didn’t know how to read the data, because it was seeing the refraction and read it as an actual object.
I would be careful up there, although you may need a key to unlock said “portal” or whatever it may be.
I’m not sure I like seeing governor Herbert in on this at all.
Fugal seems like a good guy himself, but he’s uncovering some stuff that higher ups may already know about and I can see them getting closer to finding answers. Obviously something is going on there. We just can’t let this data be hidden like the NIDS team with bigelow more than likely did because they found something odd.
The series became the better of the history channel alternative shows they’ve had. Doesn’t seem to be intentionally misleading us or feeding into everyone’s confirmation bias that this is all aliens. Good show!

I have a quetion about the skinwalker ranch. Allegedly an area of high strangeness over the years, I saw an interview with the landowner that owns property next door and overlooks the ranch. He will even let you up there.The problem I am having is that he stated that he grew up there and has been there his entire life and never witnessed anything strange. So how is this possible.

Looks like Fulgurites commonly known as "fossilized lightning", a little weird being in the air but seems so much EMF type incidents it would make sense to see something take shape like other natural energy phenomena. There are sprites and other lightning types which are rare some which have only been captured by the ISS and since a camera CCD registers photons it would make sense the phenomena would have some association to photons triggering the point data. The artifact looks like part of the landscape but just a glitch like you see in games. Technology isn't always exact and since that ranch does interfere with electronics and causes all kind of weird things to happen I'd assume maybe it caused this weird artifact. If it was like a transparent or just different from the landscape I'd be more intrigued.

I think it’s that or locations where active camo was enabled when the image was taken. Effectively one pixel worth of data was erroneous. It looked similar when it was the only one. When you laid them all next to each other however you can see how constant something is staying camouflaged in the area. The get the objects to uncloak a couple times during the series even. Multiple times on the day they launched rockets. We just haven’t figured out how to communicate yet and they are being cautious when not actively trying to communicate because the military attacks on sight basically.
