For standin' in my way
For ruinning all my fun
You say your doing it for my sake
I thought I did my best
It was nearly good enough
But all that effort I guess
It hurts me when you call
I hate the way your thinkin'
I could have so easily had it all
I could've had everything,
I could've had everything
This perfect life I'm in,
Screwin' myself over
I could've had everything
I should have had everything
You almost got me thinking
I'm screwing myself over
Screwin' myself over
They say that madness is
Doing a thing the same way
You hope it's gonna turn out different
But ya doing it anyway
I guess it's what I did with you
But at least I have a reason
So my apologies, wont go to anyone
It hurts me when you say,
That all my close mates hate me
I really thought I had it all
I could've had everything
I could've had everything
It's the perfect life for men,
Screwing myself over,
Screwing myself over
I could've had everything
I should've had everything
You almost got me thinking
I'm screwing myself over
I could a, I could a, I could a
I could a, I could a, I could a had everything
I could a, I could a, I could a
I could a, I could a had everything
I came so near to thinking
I had something
I could've had everything
It's the perfect life for men
Screwing myself over
Could've had everything
I should've had everything
You almost got me thinking
I'm screwing myself over
Could've had everything
I should've had everything
It's the perfect life for men
Screwing myself over
Could've had everything
I should've had everything
You almost got me thinking
I'm screwing myself over
The lyrics to Pink's song "Could've Had Everything" appear to address feelings of resentment and regret towards those who have stood in the singer's way or prevented them from achieving what they feel they could have had. The song opens by lamenting how others have "ruined all my fun" and "say [they're] doing it for my sake," suggesting the singer feels that these actions have not been in their best interest. The second verse refers to the singer's "best" efforts not being "good enough" and the "effort" not resulting in much, perhaps highlighting feelings of inadequacy and a belief that their work has not been acknowledged or appreciated.
The chorus repeats the phrase "I could've had everything" in a somewhat mournful tone, seeming to suggest that the singer feels that they have missed out on opportunities or that their potential has been wasted. They also express a belief that they are "screwing [themself] over" and that they "should have had everything." The third verse invokes the idea of madness being repeating the same actions and expecting a different outcome, with the singer noting that they "did it anyway" with respect to their relationship with the person they are singing about. They offer a justification for this behavior, but still seem to feel sadness and pain when reminded of the situation.
Overall, the song seems to be a reflection on missed opportunities and the emotional turmoil that can come from feeling like others or oneself is standing in the way of achieving one's dreams. There is a sense of resignation towards the end, as the singer acknowledges that they "almost got [themselves] thinking I'm screwing myself over" and that they are stuck in a less-than-ideal situation.

@@vanessamwila4079 All prayers from Righteous SOULS aka Born again Christians, have power.
Sinners prayers GOD hears not.
Unless we REPENT and born again and LIVE HOLY, GOD hears none of our prayers.
Prayers have power, but these must come from Changed hearts.

I don't wanna be the girl who laughs the loudest
Or the girl who never wants to be alone
I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the mornin'
'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home
Ah-ah, the sun is blindin'
Ah-ah, I stayed up again
Oh-oh, I am findin'
That's not the way I want my story to end
I'm safe up high
Nothing can touch me
Why do I feel this party's over?
No pain inside
You're my protection
But how do I feel this good sober?
I don't wanna be the girl that has to fill the silence
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation
I won't remember, save your breath 'cause what's the use?
Ah-ah, the night is callin'
And it whispers to me softly, "come and play"
Ah-ah, I am fallin'
And if I let myself go, I'm the only one to blame
I'm safe up high
Nothing can touch me
But why do I feel this party's over?
No pain inside
You're like perfection
But how do I feel this good sober?
Comin' down, comin' down, comin' down
Spinnin' round, spinnin' round, spinnin' round
I'm lookin' for myself
Sober
Comin' down, comin' down, comin' down
Spinnin' round, spinnin' round, spinnin' round
Lookin' for myself
Sober
When it's good, then it's good
It's all good till it goes bad
Till you try to find the you that you once had
I have heard myself cry, never again!
Broken down in agony
Just tryin' to find a friend
Ohhh

@Kegyetleneper
I remember when I didn't understand english and just loved the songs for the way they sound. Now I understand them, and it's like a door what was always infront of me finally opened.
@AnOnlineLife
Kegyetleneper I don't know you but I'm proud of you what you've accomplished really is a great thing well done. I'm in the process of learning another language and it seems impossible but well done x
@Kegyetleneper
AnOnlineLife wow thank you :D
Learning English is way more easy than learning any other language. It's everywhere. My mother language is a small one. 10 million people speak it, so websites like youtube,facebok didn't make a version for us :D okay they did... but only a few years ago. So I had to use the english version since I used the internet, and it helped a lot.
The series I watch are 90% american. Not to mention the videogames :D
So it was easy. But I started to learn german, 2 years ago and.... it isn't easy at all :D
@stellaruiz5805
Kegyetleneper What nationality are you?I am halfway romanian and halfway spanish and I was born in America.I think you may be romanian to,because not very much people know it.And I know just a few words in romanian. Spanish i know,while my father teached me.
@HorrorrificFun
+Kegyetleneper i know that feeling all too well. Honestly im a bit surprised when people cant speak english. In the age we live it its borderline mandatory. I'm croatian and my enlglish is almost better than my croatian. I learned a lot just from watching cartoon network a lot as a kid. Back then i could watch without knowing what they are saying and still have fun. Eventually things just started poping into place and everything came naturally. So now with next to no effort im so good at it that my friends from the uk say its difficult to tell im not a native speaker. currently I'm speaking 3 languages and am in the process of learning korean and im still just 18. If there is a will , there is a way. Learning a new language can be frustrating and challenging but stick to it and you will prevail. Hmmm got a bit theatrical there....sorry XD. On a side note i find it interesting that humans are the only creature on this planet that cant even comunicate with their own kind haha. Oh and dont forget to use the language often otherwise you'd be surprised how quickly you will forget half of it.
@AnOnlineLife
+Kegyetleneper your welcome x and ahh I never really thought about it that way but I guess the exposure of the English language must help a lot wow. Ahh I know I'm learning Spanish haha not simple :/
@fourofcups7649
man this the kind of song that you heard as a 14 year old but doesn't really hit until you're an alcoholic trying to get clean a decade later
@Belladonna313
Yep I got sober of painkillers July 12th last year and never thought I’d have addiction problems but here we are. Come back to listen to this song and can’t believe I’m alive sometimes. Keep fighting friend
@UnPiXELATED
Agree! Addiction to music is much healthier than any substance we use to numb ourselves! We must feel! My poison ☠️ was H (nothing but ⬇️wards from there)... until I made drastic changes after too many yrs passed by! Clean and sober is great but also takes commitment and you have to be ready to feel it all! We are stronger for it! 💪🏽

Ikr right I'm on my 8th day of binge drinking and I cant stop. It's been this way for two years now and I've drained all my assets because of it... cant see myself quitting even though it hurts everything in my life.
