GOD
P.A.I.N. Management Lyrics

Reporting live from the bottom
I remember when everyone wanted to be a doctor
Fast forward they'll take anything on offer
No diss sonke sizama uk' hlanganisa

Uyakhumbula mngani wami
Izinto bez' lula mngani wami yeah
We were playing out in the mud and in the streets
We, had no stress had no worries yeah we were free ya dig
Now we're grown up grown up grown up
It's time to own up own up own up
Now we're grown up grown up grown up
It's time to own up own up own up

It gets really real in this world God's timing
It'll fall into place at God's timing
Kept my head high and saw the stars aligning
Baba ngithembe wena ungangilahli
Uyakhumbula mngani wami
Izinto bez' lula mngani wami yeah

We were playing out in the mud and in the streets
We, had no stress had no worries yeah we were free ya dig

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to P.A.I.N. Management's song "God" touch on several themes, including reminiscing about simpler times and the pressures of growing up. The first few lines express a sense of disappointment in how the world has turned out - the singer is "reporting live from the bottom," hinting at a feeling of being at rock bottom or at least close to it. They remember a time when everyone wanted to be a doctor, but now people will take any job that's offered to them.

The chorus ("Now we're grown up grown up grown up...") speaks to a common experience of adulthood - feeling like it's time to take responsibility for one's life and own up to one's mistakes. The second verse is more optimistic, with the singer expressing faith that things will work out in the end as long as they trust in God's timing. The final lines of the chorus ("we were free ya dig") reinforce the contrast between the carefree days of childhood and the responsibilities of adulthood.

Overall, "God" is a commentary on the struggles of growing up and finding one's way in a world that can be harsh and unforgiving. However, the song also offers a glimmer of hope in the idea that faith can help people navigate these difficulties.

Dear Claire I am suffering from stage 4 Metastic Breast cancer. It's in my bones and head. The pain is just unbelievable. Was having a really rough day, the power went out and my hospital bed was stuck. I hurt so bad. Listened to this until the pain meds kicked in and fell asleep. It was blissful. Thank you for helping me. I love ❤️ this.

@jenniferfiore6251

This is the most amazing meditation I’ve ever experienced! I have endometriosis and also currently have siatic nerve pain. It’s genuinely so painful it is unbelievable. My body goes into panic mode when I’m in slot of pain due to my anxiety but this meditation calms me right down. This meditation not only helps calm me down, but it releases some of the pain and it gets more manageable to deal with. It has stopped me from phoning the doctors or going up to a&e. I just want to say thank you for providing us with such a gift!

I’m recommending it to all my friends and family.

To anyone who is reading this, you are a warrior. I do not know what pain you are going through but I hope that it will pass for you. I’m proud of you for coming to this meditation. Please know that everything will be okay! We can get through this together! Keep fighting warrior🥰 you got this!

@GenerationCalm

Oh to read this makes me tear up ... because this is exactly why I record these meditations. And I know they're not for everyone, but when it reaches the right person at the right time ... well, thank you for letting me know!

I typed “meditation for pain relief” tonight due to a horrible endo/adeno flare. Ugh. I feel like I am in labor.
