Hey Joe
P.B.R. (USA) Lyrics

Hey Joe
Onde é que você vai
Com essa arma aí na mão?
Hey Joe
Esse não é o atalho
Pra sair dessa condição!
Dorme com tiro acorda ligado
Tiro que tiro
Trik-trak boom
Para todo lado
Meu irmão, é só desse jeito
Consegui impor minha moral...
Eu sei que sou caçado
E visto sempre como um animal
Sirene ligada os homi
Chegando trik-trak
Boom boom
Mas eu vou me mandando
Hey Joe
Assim você não curte o brilho
Intenso da manhã
Acorda com tiro dorme com tiro
Hey Joe
O que o teu filho vai pensar
Quando a fumaça baixar
Fumaça de fumo
Fogo de revólver
E é assim que eu faço
E faço a minha história
Meu irmão, aqui estou por causa dele
E vou te dizer
Talvez eu não tenha vida
Mas é assim que vai ser
Armamento pesado
O corpo é fechado
Eu não quero é mais ver
Mas vai ser difícil me deter
Hey Joe
Muitos castelos já cairam
E você tá na mira
Hey Joe
Muitos castelos já, e você tá na mira
Também morre quem atira
Menos de 5% dos caras do local
São dedicados a alguma atividade marginal
E impressionam quando aparecem nos jornais
Tapando a cara com trapos
Com uma Uzi na mão
Parecendo árabes árabes árabes do caos
Sinto muito cumpadi
Mas é burrice pensar
Que esses caras
É que são os donos da biografia
Já que a grande maioria
Daria um livro por dia
Sobre arte, honestidade e sacrifício
Sacrifício...

Arte, honestidade e sacrifício
Também morre quem atira

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to P.B.R. (USA)'s song Hey Joe express a tale of romantic rivalry between two friends over a woman referred to as a "pearly girlie" and "jolly dolly." The singer is trying to persuade Joe to introduce him to the woman, and eventually convinces him to let him dance with her. The singer emphasizes the woman's physical appearance, describing her as having "skin that's creamy dreamy," "eyes that look so lovey-dovey," and "lips as red as cherry berry wine." He warns Joe that he intends to steal her away from him despite their friendship, indicating that the relationship between the two men will not survive this love triangle.

The lyrics are representative of the popular music of the mid-20th century, which often focused on themes of romantic love and relationships. The competition between the two friends for the woman's affection is a familiar trope in this genre, with the singer employing tactics such as complimenting her appearance and casting doubt on Joe's ability to fully appreciate her. The song's upbeat tempo and playful lyrics suggest a lighthearted approach to the subject matter, but ultimately the message is serious - love can be a destructive force that can ruin friendships.

I've worked as a medic at these events and I can honestly agree that this is a very dangerous sport.
I've treated many crush injuries and more than one ending in death.
One (in Darwin Australia) of which had his groin stomped, which resulted in broken hip and internal crush injuries. He died two days later.
The main thing I used to treat was dirt in the eyes.

Robert Ratcliff

So pop( grandpa) was champion and went to defend his title the next year. Im not exactly where he was in the season but he was thrown into the rails kicked in the back and then horned in the side. Would never ride again. He showed me some pictures of his injurys and man ill tell ya ive seen some bad injuries but those photos are near the top of the list.

I love how Cody after being thrown into the air, he just gets back up, does his job to protect his cowboy and picks him up and put him in front of him to protect him from anything behind.

That’s selfless!

I got stuck the same way Dakota Louis did on his head. That happened to me during my football season over the summer, glad the bull fighters made sure he didn't get stepped on.

So glad to see riders wearing helmets and other precautions. It’s a great sport but not worth a life being lost.

I lost my best friend in a bull ride, but I enjoy the rodeo, it's like a part of me.
