Tower: a sanctuary for the wise high up on the white mountains where the sun always shine.

There are thematic parallels between tower and necropolis too. Both of them are using magic to experiment in animating/reanimating objects.
Also it always bothered me how tower is a good aligned town while it's tier 1 units are literal slaves.

Stronghold : Savage powerful attackers who live in desert .
Similarities : Weak mage "LEVEL 3" , their 7th creature can't fly and some kind slow , Their themes are AWESOME , cheap units and their heroes have strong state and zero another state "Fortress defense and Stronghold attack ".
