I have a theory about what causes drug addiction.
I think it’s because all people need to be doctors so their main goal is to save lives.
That’s what we’re all missing in life, it’s what will fill the empty hole that people are trying to reach, which drives them to think “what is missing? What am I looking for?” And many turn to drugs but drugs are only a temporary feeling of being high, so they keep doing drugs trying to fill the empty hole. Science and medicine will fill the empty hole. Because most of what all of our current education system is about trying to keep children/people off the streets because there’s nothing to DO!

But if they are learning about how to save lives, I think it’s the goal that will fill the empty hole. Learning all the medical terminology, and medical treatments, and to start looking for cures to all diseases, I think that is what everyone needs. Life’s purpose should be to love thy neighbor, which means save lives, and save animals, and save the whole EARTH! That’s the Royal Law!
When people are in college learning about the wrong things, like all the capitalist “professions” are, that’s too hard and boring! Boredom causes drug abuse and addiction. We’re all bored our entire lives because there’s nothing to DO… except WORK, for tiny wages, at boring jobs…and then after work there’s nothing to do except watch boring “evil” TV, movies and computers and whatever, and it leaves a huge hole in our lives, but people don’t know what will fill it! I think it’s LOVE THY NEIGHBOR meaning lifelong learning about how to save lives! Like science and medicine! Everyone should be forced to learn it (education is forced). That’s my theory. I hope someone listens.

And I blame capitalism for all the world’s problems, because there aren’t ever enough jobs! And it’s temporary and scary , it’s all so uncertain, it’s all insanity because it’s oppression. And oppression absolutely makes a wise man insane. Capitalism is literally hate and destroy your neighbors by competing and trying put someone else’s business out of business. And capitalists are now eliminating all jobs with automation, so we see how insane it really is!

All people should own all things worldwide because that will end world poverty! Because capitalists think it’s right to give all the money to a few rich people which is insane! Because then even the richest people are bored and scared, and thinking only about MONEY! And we should not need money! We were all forced to need money over the millennia (WCRTW page 252) so it’s UNNATURAL to need money, and it’s frightening not to have it but it’s frightening to have lots of it too! Capitalism is BOREDOM and uncertainty and insanity, because no one can help any other person to LIVE LONG HAPPY LIVES when there is unequal wealth! There should be equal wealth worldwide. And we should start building only Tower cities connected to maglev Trains worldwide ASAP to save the EARTH! All things are possible if we believe it and TRY to become perfect. God help us, we all need a higher power to help us all find His perfect way.
I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry.

The rich people’s kids also do drugs because they can afford drugs, and they’re also bored , and they also die of drug overdoses because of capitalism. And “don’t fall in love with the gardener!” The rich have to marry the rich no matter how little attraction and love there is. And the rich commit suicide too, because of capitalism.

And there are probably a billion charities and still billions are starving to death! 25 million every year!

Addiction is giving up everything for one thing. Recovery is giving up one thing for everything. I don’t know who coined that but, they nailed it.

Beautiful. Being a couple months sober after relapsing 4 times; this quote is what’s been keeping me on the straight line. The one that spoke to me the loudest and seemed the clearest. So dam true lol God bless everyone fighting an addiction right now. I know it’s good but please give yourself a chance. I don’t miss waking up sick. Putting the drug before ANYONE. Letting yourself go. Destroying everything around you.
Life is so great. I have gained most of the trust I lost (some you just can’t fix). Fixed things with my lil baby. And most importantly, im able to be the father I want to be with my son. LEAVE DRUGS IN THE PAST. LIFE IS WAITING FOR YOU!!

This is too true.

Former meth addict. Clean for 30 years with a great family, home, and job. I was a shy kid that got excellent grades in school. The summer after my sophomore year in high school, I started drinking alcohol. I broke out of my shell a little bit because of it. I started going to parties and started to actually become one of the popular kids. Then, one night, after a few drinks someone offered me some crank. There's no way I would have tried it if I was sober, but the liquid courage in me said, "yeah, I'll try a little bit". Oh. My. God. Best feeling ever! I felt so awesome. I loved everybody. It was all big energy and great vibes. I spent several months doing it on weekends with that same feeling. It was the greatest stuff on earth.

But then I did it on more than just weekends. I started skipping school. Then I did it even more. I dropped out of school. Then I had to get a job, but my co-workers and boss did meth, too (construction jobs). I started doing it everyday. It all spiraled out of control from there. You begin to chase your tail. You need it to be able to function. Eventually you crash, though. You aren't reliable at work.....you lose your job.....you become paranoid and can't make yourself get another job. You start stealing to support your habit. You end up in jail, and eventually, prison.

Luckily, I had a strong support group that helped me get through to the other side, but a lot of people don't. Meth addicts burn the bridges of family and friend pretty quickly. I see so many meth zombies walking the streets these days and all I can say is that I'm glad I found a way out. I've seen so many great human beings destroyed by this garbage. Stay away from it at all costs.

@luxuriousfir

It has destroyed two family members and many of my friends lives...
