2) Penicillin were a German band (based in the town of Kottweiler) rooted in jazz-rock.
Formed in 1971 by Fred Felder (vocals) and Waldemar Ruth (drums), they had changed a lot over the years before their debut recordings. This was down to the fact that the band was often a large metamorphic troupe of up to 12 or 15 musicians, based around a pretty constant core of five, and that they'd experimented with everything from Hörspiel through to classical, combining such elements into their own unique sound.

The lyrics of PENICILLIN's song "No Control" speak of taking risks and embracing intense feelings, even if it means losing control. The opening lines suggest that it is okay for one's born rhythm to go wild and for their sweet love fuse to burst, letting out intense emotions. The song then encourages the listener to speed up and to keep pushing themselves further to achieve their goals, even if it means going beyond what feels comfortable or safe. The verses describe how, once they break through their limits and travel through time and space, they will no longer have control over their body, but they will be consumed by the thrill of the moment.
The chorus reaffirms the message of taking risks and diving into the unknown while experiencing intense emotions. The lyrics use metaphors, such as the "Galaxy" and the "Time Machine," to suggest that anything is possible if one is willing to push themselves to the edge. The repetition of "NO CONTROL" in the chorus emphasizes the idea of letting go of control and experiencing life without boundaries. Overall, "No Control" is a song that celebrates the joy of pushing oneself to the limits, taking risks, and feeling alive in the process.
