The song "The Fight" by Pay No Respect is a powerful and angry response to someone who has wronged the singer. The lyrics start with a direct command not to look or speak to the singer, as they feel betrayed by this person. The singer had given everything to this person, but had not received anything in return. The feeling of betrayal is so intense that the singer cannot even bear to be in the same room as this person. The anger and frustration come to a head with the line "Slip of the tongue and it's done, no turning back it's just begun," signalling that this is a breaking point.
The chorus then addresses the issue of respect, or rather, the lack of it. The person who betrayed the singer had said something hurtful or disrespectful, and now it is too late to take it back.
