She talks like an angel talks!
And her hair has a kind of curl
To my mind, she's my kind of girl!
She's wise, like an angel's wise,
With eyes like an angel's eyes!
And a smile like a kind of pearl
Pretty little face
That face just knocks me off of my feet!
Pretty little feet
She's really sweet enough to eat!
She looks, like an angel looks,
She cooks like an angel cooks!
And my mind's in a kind of whirl
To my mind, she's my kind of girl!
Pretty little face
That face just knocks me off of my feet!
Pretty little feet
She's really sweet enough to eat!
She looks, like an angel looks,
She cooks like an angel cooks!
And my mind's in a kind of whirl
To my mind, she's my kind of girl!
And my heart's kind of full of joy
Because she told me
I'm her kind of boy!
That lady's my kind of girl!

The lyrics to Perry Como's "My Kind of Girl" describe a woman who is the epitome of perfection in the eyes of the singer. He compares her to an angel, discussing various aspects of her appearance and demeanor. She talks, walks, and cooks like an angel, and her eyes, smile, and hair all possess angelic qualities. Her beauty and sweetness leave the singer unable to think straight and in a "kind of whirl."
The singer also describes the lady's "pretty little face" and "pretty little feet," indicating that even the smaller details of her appearance make her irresistible to him. The phrase "sweet enough to eat" further emphasizes this idea of her being almost too perfect to be real.
Ultimately, the singer's adoration is reciprocated, as the lady tells him that he's her kind of boy. This line adds a sense of joy and relief to the song, as it seems that the singer has finally found someone who meets his high standards.
Overall, "My Kind of Girl" is a classic love song that celebrates the beauty and perfection of the singer's love interest. It paints a picture of a woman who is flawless in every way, from her appearance to her personality, and highlights the way she makes the singer feel.
