When Perturbator first posted this, it was less than a month after losing one of my best friends to sui****. I was the person who found her. The lyrics match up so closely to her struggles, my relationship with her, trying to do.... anything and everything to keep her here with me (including getting more professional help), and it fits eerily with the way she ultimately passed. Add HEALTH to those lyrics and ohhhh, I listened on repeat and cried for hours. The very first time I heard it, I had to stop after the first chorus bc it was too close to what happened. Once I could listen, though, I listened to it over and over for days. It eventually became very cathartic to process that loss through the music.
I'll do anything to see HEALTH again when they come to Toronto with Perturbator in a few months, and it will make my life so full if they play this (and it seems unlikely that they wouldn't). ❤️🖤

They have a great understanding of textures and harmonics that allows them to layer the song with different colors. Plus an obvious admiration of music from all genres that likely inspires them.
