Phil has traveled with Apostle Wilson, ministering in conferences throughout the United States and in the nations of Peru, Brazil, and the Caribbean Islands, ministering in word and in song.
As worship leader of Shekinah Glory Ministry, you can hear Phil on SHEKINAH GLORY MINISTRY “LIVE” leading “Arise/Shine” & “How Deeply I Need You”, and on their third CD release, "JESUS", leading “Stomp”.
Phil released his solo project, “Draw Nearer” under the record label of Valley Kingdom Ministries, Kingdom Records Inc.
Draw Nearer, an inspired solo project is compiled of songs of invitation to come before God’s presence and experience His goodness, mercy and grace.
With the release of Draw Nearer, many doors of opportunity have been made available for Phil to minister on Bobby Jones Gospel Show, at the St. Lucia Gospel Fest, on The Word Network (Rejoice in the Word with Bishop Gregory Davis) and at various churches teaching different aspects of praise and worship and singing with the in house praise teams, flowing in unity.
Prior to the release of Draw Nearer, Phil was invited to Brazil for two months ministering on Praise and Worship. During his stay he recorded a CD entitled, "Be Pleased." Be Pleased is regarded as an album of inspiration and prayer.

It is my belief that this song is speaking about Our Father in Heaven dancing with me (making it personal).
Brother Tarver is a disciple of Jesus, fisher of men so his music ministry is to draw all men unto GOD, The Father, through HIS only Begotten SON, Jesus.
The Word of GOD makes references about dancing with respect to praising HIM.
Psalm 149:3 "Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp."
2 Samuel 6:14 "And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod."

The Lover of my soul is Jesus Christ; there is no one who loves your soul other than or more than GOD. HE sent HIS SON, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all of our sins. When you accept HIS Son, Jesus Christ to be LORD over your life, you know this song is speaking about HIM. When I think about HIS love for man, goodness, grace, mercy, loving kindness, forgiveness, birth, life, and resurrection I want HIM to "Dance with Me." When I sing this song, I actually sing "Dance with Me Lord, Lover of my soul."
This is a love song and when Brother Tarver says "Lover of my soul" all that came to my mind was The Lord and this song melts my heart. I want to dance with my Heavenly Father, the Lover of my soul.

Beautiful worship song. Once when I was sick Jesus came to me in my dream and told me to get up from my sick bed. He lift me from the bed then he held me close and danced with me. I felt so protected safe and loved in his arms.. Thank you Lover of my soul...Dance with me... Romance me....
