How I see it, buy gold, stocks, and hold cash. It's really important to diversify. Never put your eggs in 1 basket.

Convert as much of your cash as you can to gold. Leave enough in cash form for everyday needs including utilities etc.

Gold is a stopper of inflation in paper cash money. Think of them as your cash but in gold form, and bonus point is your cash remains the same value in fact more as days and years go by.

Whereas cash paper money does not retain its value. If you save 100 bucks today, next three years it's value is like 50 bucks today, etc.

So hence why I would convert as much of my cash paper money to gold as possible and only have cash for what's immediately needed.

Fun fact. Buy bitcoin. It’s literally the hardest to confiscate and best performing asset in existence (gold, silver, fiat currencies, real estate and equities have been devalued substantially and Bitcoin is just extremely stable).
