Southern Constellations
Pierce The Veil Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You Southern constellations got me so dizzy
It's cold but you pretend that you are warm with me
Before I get you home you're nearly frozen
But I'll never let you freeze without me
Oh, no
The lyrics of Pierce the Veil's song Southern Constellations seem to express the idea of a person being chased by someone he or she loves. The person seems to be falling for the Southern constellations, but they make him or her feel dizzy. Even though it's cold, the other person pretends to be warm with him or her. However, before they get home, the person is nearly frozen, but the one singing promises to never let him or her freeze without him or her. The song seems to have a romantic ambiance about it, with the Southern constellations serving as a metaphor for a lover.
