Stepping Stone
Pj And Duncan ant And Dec Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm not your stepping stone!

Trying to make your mark in society,
You're using all the tricks that you used on me,
You're reading all them high fashion magazines,
The clothes you're wearing girl are causing public scenes!

I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!
I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!

When I first met you girl you didn't have no shoes,
But now you're walking round like front page news,
You've been awful careful 'bout the friends you choose,
But you won't find my name in your book of who's who!

I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!
I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!

Not your stepping stone,
You drive me round the bend.
There's nothing I can do,
You're using all my friends.
You lie and cheat, decieve,
Hurt me through and through.
Can't take this any more,
Now I'm stepping on you, singing...

I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!
I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!

I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!

I'm not your stepping stone!
Not your stepping stone!
