As a child, I went forward without thinking of the consequences that came with every step. I acted impulsively without hesitating, not knowing that You would one day guide me back to the right path.

I had no doubts about my way of life until You disrupted my patterns and challenged my beliefs. You showed me a new paradigm and I was forced to re-evaluate my understanding of You and the world.

Simple me, only trying to see You in the stained glass
I used to believe that I could only find You within the confines of religion and the holy spaces. I was trying to see You through a limited lens of what I thought was pure and holy.

I walked right past the unexpected
I was blind to the unexpected ways in which You would reveal Yourself to me. I missed opportunities to see You in the everyday things because I was focused on finding You in specific places or situations.

Anyway You wanna show me
You have complete control and freedom in the way You want to reveal Yourself to me. Your approach is not predictable and can come in unexpected ways.

All Your glory
All the majesty and splendor that makes up who You are and what You represent.

Anywhere You choose to speak
You can speak to me through anything and everything, in every corner of the world, and in all types of situations and circumstances.

Tell Your story
You have a unique story that You want to share with me. You can reveal Your story to me through the world around me, people I come across, and my experiences.

In the low or lofty places
You can show Yourself to me in both humble and grand ways. It doesn't matter where, as long as You can reveal Yourself to me.

Strangers faces
People I don't know can be the face of You to me. You can reveal Yourself through their actions or qualities.

Doubt that I would have found You there in Bethlehem
I would have never expected to find You in a manger in Bethlehem. You were born where I least expected You to be, but that didn't stop You from changing the world.

No surprise, You changed the world through fishermen
Your power and authority know no bounds. You used simple, ordinary fishermen to spread Your gospel and change the course of history.

Good to know, You would go so far to finally get through
It's comforting to know that You went out of Your way to find a way to reach me. You showed me that my stubbornness and unbelief were not enough to keep You away.

That's just like You and so unlike me
Your ways are often mysterious, unexpected, and not easily understood by me. My ways, on the other hand, can be rigid and limited in my understanding of who You are.

In the alley, on the rooftop
You can reveal Yourself to me in the most unlikely of places. Even in the darkest alleys or highest rooftops where I would least expect it.

At the end of a rocky road, You don't stop
Even when my path is difficult or uncertain, You don't give up on me. You continue to guide me and reveal Yourself to me, helping me navigate the difficult roads.

On a mountain, in a rainstorm
You can reveal Yourself to me in the most majestic and powerful of settings, or in the midst of the heaviest storms and tribulations.

In the eyes of a mother with her newborn
Your beauty and love can be reflected in the eyes of a mother and her child. You can reveal Yourself through the purest forms of love.

In the back pew, at the altar
You can reveal Yourself to me in the holiest of places, such as the back pew of a church or at the foot of an altar.

At the well where You gave the woman water
You used a simple act of kindness, providing water to a woman at a well, to reveal Yourself to her. You can use even the smallest actions to reveal Your divine nature.

In the chaos, in the holy
In the midst of chaos and disorder, I can still find You. Your Holy presence is not limited to only certain situations but can be present anywhere.

In the darkness, anywhere a heart beats
You can reveal Yourself in the darkest of places. Even in the darkest moments of life, where pain and despair seem to overtake all, You can still be found in the beating of a heart.

Anyway You wanna show me
You remain in control of how You reveal Yourself to me. I should not have the expectation of knowing exactly when or how You will show Yourself to me.

You can use strangers, people who I don't know, to reveal Your divine nature to me.

You can reveal Yourself to me anywhere in the world, in any situation, at any time.

You can reveal Yourself in any way You choose, whether through nature, people, or life events.
