When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next you
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver up, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

When I'm working, yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money, comes in for the work I do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home (when I come home) well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And if I grow-old (when I grow-old) well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

Da da da (da da da)
Da da da (da da da)

Da da da dun diddle un diddle un diddle uh da

Da da da (da da da)
Da da da (da da da)

Da da da dun diddle un diddle un diddle uh da

When I'm lonely, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's lonely without you
And when I'm dreaming, well I know I'm gonna dream
I'm gonna dream about the time when I'm with you
When I go out (when I go out) well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
And when I come home (when I come home) yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home with you
I'm gonna be the man who's coming home with you

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

And I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more

Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

The surname Kay is the same as Key.
This is therefore "Peter of the Key", the same one who decided on the divine tunes for inclusion in the Animated Band (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O-8nBRXRGw) (you know, the one that took 6 months to make, features Peter as Big Chris(topher) - meaning "Bearer of Christ". and ends with the characters by the sea at sunset singing "Throw those curtains wide" and finishing just as "The Carpenter" arrives? Clue: think back to the most famous carpenter you ever heard of!).
And the same one who organised a version of Amarillo by Tony Christie (meaning "son of Christian") (the song noting that "There's a church bell ringin' Hear the song of joy that it's singin' For the sweet Maria (means Mary) and the guy who's coming to see her (so who could that be?)?).
The song above is about pilgrimage for love (and can also be found in an even more divine setting at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaVz5QodZv4).
There is genius, and there is talent
- but then there is what the Holy Spirit can do with genius and talent when He works - through a good cause - in the name of Father and Son.
In that context and that company, time and effort look like relative things.
And NOTHING here is by chance.
It is all as it was meant to be.

Amazing how many stars in that video, that are no longer with us. So good to see them all happy and singing.

RIP Bob the Builder and Postman Pat

@thelonglane

Yeah. Heard Basil Brush was killed in a hit and run. Apparently he was crossing the road late one night on his way to a hen house.

@daviddd99

And also real stars from more or less another era - no 'Instagrammers', 'Youtubers', 'Influencers' and Ex-Big Brother/reality show contestants.

Love it

I don't know why we don't get comic relief singles like this no more. The BBC never tells us anything.

@bowmaj8666

I think that Jimmy Saville might have something to do with it.

@SinisterPixel

Man, I remember watching this live back in 2007. I think that was a much simpler time for everyone. Seeing all the TV stars and celebrities I went through my teen years watching. I guess this is nostalgia

@JOEBROWN08

Hey I'm from the states and I don't really know many of the people could you spout out a list of everyone in the video ?I've never seen it before...
Thanks
