Pure Bathing Culture Lyrics

You're pendulum
When we already say, it's you time
Cover ... you know it's your time, you're over the world
And I feel alone, feel
Explain what you see
And I'm gonna see you like a pendulum
In your minds, your pendulums
It's your time
And your wife she says, I'll be know when it's your time, over the world
Then I feel no feels
Whispering in every since
And I'll gona see you like a pendulum
Then I feel no feels
Whispering in every since
And I'll gona see you like a pendulum
You face in no fear as I change in this
I gonna see you like a pendulum
So apart, so apart
The lyrics to Pure Bathing Culture's song Dreams are abstract and open to interpretation, as is often the case with experimental music. The first few lines are particularly elusive: "You're de cap side, you're pendulum. When we already say, it's your time. Cover...you know it's your time, you're over the world. And I feel alone, feel." It seems like the singer is addressing an unnamed "you," who has something to do with a "pendulum." It could be that the "pendulum" is a metaphor for the passage of time, or for the ups and downs of life.
The second verse offers a bit more concrete imagery: "In your minds, your pendulums. Fortune telling you to say it's your time. And your wife she says, I'll be know when it's your time, over the world. Then I feel no feels." Here, we learn that the "pendulum" has something to do with the mind, and that the singer is envisioning someone getting advice from a fortune teller and their spouse. The final lines of the song are even more enigmatic: "You face in no fear as I change in this. I gonna see you like a pendulum. So apart, so apart." It's unclear what "this" refers to, or why the singer feels alone and separate from the person they're addressing.
All in all, Dreams is a song that invites listeners to come up with their own meanings and interpretations. It's introspective and atmospheric, with a dreamlike quality that matches the title.

NIce, but the mix sounds muddy...
Tree Funk Jones
Jeffery Jones I agree but I think that was the point. A lot of bands go for that washed out over verbed sound nowadays
