Love game
R. Djordan Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Its getting quite in this room
And I'm kinda over being used
This kind of love twist and pull
Back and forth its a game to you
And I
Don't think I want you back
Even if you changed
Cause I
Don't know how to act
Around you I feel strange
Its a game
Welcome to the love game
And I don't know how to act
Around you I feel strange
There's too much pain
In this love game
Gotta stop myself
From falling more for you
My heart used to beat pure
And now this shit is bruised
Cause I don't think I want you back
Even if you changed
Cause I don't know how to act
Around you I feel strange
Its a game

Welcome to the love game
Welcome to the love game

Wow, as someone who is not a Packers fan (Fly Eagles Fly) and has never seen Jordan Love play, he certainly looked a lot better than I had been led to believe.

Mark Hilditch

Fly eagles fly

Praetorian

It’s because last year as much as I believe in Love, he looked kinda awful. Happy feet like you wouldn’t believe, his accuracy was unbearable, and he got shaken up super badly by the crowds.

But here as you see, he’s poised, calm, and ready to go. Rodgers and Clements had to have done something big to help him.

He’s still got his issues, but the people outright mocking and dismissing him already, have no idea what they’re talking about. At least give him a shot I’d say.

Isaiah Samosky

@Praetorian finally someone else who actually believes in the man

Joseph Riehl

@Isaiah Samosky until this performance, there had been zero objective reason for anyone to believe in him other than blind faith.

William Hermann

@Joseph Riehl Based on the Packers history of developing quarterbacks, there has been every reason to believe in Love. Everyone knows about Favre and Rodgers but few remember they also developed Mark Brunell (put the expansion jaguars on the map), Matt Hasselbeck (perennial pro bowler who nearly won a super bowl with the Seahawks), and Aaron Brooks (who made a pro bowl with the Saints). Even Matt Flynn got a decent 2nd contract with the seahawks and was supposed to start but blew his shoulder out in preseason and then hot Wally Pipp'd by a rookie Russell Wilson. Nobody develops qbs like the Packers do. Nobody else even comes close. For that very reason I haven't doubted Jordan Love for a second. They will find a way to maximize the ridiculous natural talent he possesses.

Love honestly had a solid night, no turnovers, good ball placement, and did his job of managing the game. It's still obvious he's not starting caliber yet but he's slowly improving every game which is what we packers fans like to see.

J D

But let’s be honest, he’s no Rogers or Favre. Been a long time since y’all had to sympathize with shortcomings from the QB position.

Patrick Zenk

@J D He literally just said "Not starting caliber" like read the whole comment before making one

Larry Bird

@J D …. You’re expecting a backup of the current MVP who doesn’t get any playing time to be like the MVP??
