The lyrics to RC Formation's "Maafkanlah" express the regret and longing of someone who has lost their significant other. The first stanza, "Ingin Ku Lihat Lagi, Canda Tawamu Serta Bening Bola Matamu, Entah Bagaimana Bisa Jadi Begini, Engkau Bukan Pacar ku Lagi" reflects the yearning to see their ex-lover's smile and eyes once more, while lamenting how the relationship has come to an end.
