This album is a gothic rock gem. A buddy of mine said this sounds a lot like the style of The Misfits. I love how each song in this album seems to be a nod to another great rocker's guitar techniques. You hear a lot of Ozzy, Blue Oyster Cult, and even vocals and riffs that sound a bit like Gerard Way (MCR) and Serj Tankian in Rise, Lazarus, Rise

How I see it: Personal Demons is a Lovecraftian God showing a man how to raise the dead via mechanical means, Rise Lazarus Rise is hat man revealing his invention to the world. Worlds In-Between is the machine malfunctioning and bringing them back, but as hollow shells of who they once were, who kill for pleasure and fun, no reason otherwise. Dead Air (this song) is the final cries of help of whoever is alive trying to find survivors of a world-wide Apocalypse.

I honestly associated Creature Feature and Rufus Rex with hp lovecraft sometimes. Im also a fan of his. Of course rufus rex has more lovecraftian sounds to it lyrically.

And I always thought of from the dust returned a titan was when the starts are right.

Dead air is a lucky guy who probably read the necronomicon knew how to survive... barely.

I good sequel to this song would be ; the guy is dying and basically broadcasts his regrets about causing the apocalypse. to add salt to the wound, seconds after he dies, voice replies.

Scott More so Метро, as you can hear muiltple conversations with survivors about trying to find life outside, or people they'd heard who disappeared (Although one story turns out to have gone well, regarding a tank crew.).

In Fallout, the whole country is populated. Guess vault-tec did a good job, even if they were batshit crazy.

I think the "Dead Air" is the current state of the music industry and by "searching for life" it describes our constant obsession with destroying music with mp3's and high volume levels. Hence explaining the over distorted sound also..
