In For The Kill
Rachel Ann Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm going in for the kill
Doing it for a thrill
And now I'm hoping you'll understand
And don't let go of my hand
()
I had my hopes out on the line, oo-oo
Well they'll be ready for you in time.
If you leave them out too long, oo-oo
They'll be withered by the sun.
()
And how far can you send emotions? oo-oo
Can this bridge cross the ocean?
And I'm going in for the kill
I'm doing it for a thrill
And now I'm hoping you'll understand

And don't let go of my hand
And don't let go of my hand

You're so welcome. I have watche this at least 10 times and I never do that. I'm sure I saw a tear forming in Ricky's eyes as there was in mine. Don't let them change you. Oh and being grounded(being earthed) is a thing. You can get a pad for your bed which has a wire runs out of your window and down to earth. Or you can go barefoot. Can't wait to hear more and wish you all the love you deserve.

This wasn't a song I knew so just watched the original version. You blew it out of the water!! Amazing talent, can't wait to hear you sing again! :)

Do you know who I am?

You're a dark horse! Such an amazing, strong performance, you need to reach at least the live shows(I know it's already been recorded as I saw the battles!) because most of the remaining members of team ricky are not very good!

am I the only one who actually think this is way better than the original? I wish she had recorded the entire song

La Roux has no range at all, just one octave from what I've heard. Rachel took that song and made it into a James Bond title song.
