Rania was one of the best raising groups but were poorly managed and had many line up changes due to the HORRIBLE management from their company DR Music. The original and first line up consisted of
1. Riko (Leader)
2. Dee/D.I
3. JooYi
4. Joy
5. Yina/Saem
6. T-ae
7. Xia (maknae)
Joy was first to leave the group just a year after their debut (they deubted in 2011), a year later Riko followed and the leader position was forwarded to Yina. Who would also leave the group in 2014 but came back in 2016 as the leader. In 2015 JooYi left and in the group were added Jieun, Zi.U, Hyeme and Alexandra. After Yina came back (in 2016) the group joined Yumin and Ttabo but the last 3 remaining original members (Xia, Dee & T-ae) left the group and Yina followed a year after them (2017). She spoke about why she left the group in the first place and why she came back 2 years after just to leave it once again a year later. Yina actually said that she didn't plane to leave the group once coming back but after 3 original members left she missed her members (which is completely understandable) and that she didn't fit that much in with the new members of Rania. After Yinas departure, Rania was re-branded in BP Rania (short for Black Pearl Rania) and Alex (the first black K-pop Idol) was given the position of a leader. She actually left the group a few month after Yina due to the racism and unfair treatment she received from the management (in 2017 as well). The next in line for the leader position was Hyeme. In 2018 Yumin left the group to focus on her family as she got married and soon after pregnant with her son, Ttabo also left the group the same year alongside Yumin, the same year Namfon joined the group. In 2019 Zi.U and Jieun left the group but Seunghyun, Leia (formerly Larissa) & Youngheun joined the group. The next year Namfon left the group because she got homesick and had to finance herself to travel every 90 days from Thailand to S. Korea and the other way around because the company didn't provide her with a working visa. Hyeme also left the group due to a controversy involving one of her ex-boyfriend/husband. Seunghyun also left the group but the reason is unknown. The same year (2020) Judy and Fatou joined the group and the group was re-branded/re-debuted as BLACKSWAN which we know of today. Gabi & Sriya are the newest members added to the group this year. And that's the whole line up change of RANIA and the cause of their downfall. Sadly.. I'm still a fan of theirs and have been since 2011. My bias is definitely Yina and I love the original line up more then the others but yeah... Hope you guys will enjoy their discography as they have a lot to offer. Their company really ruined them. <3

@LA SHORE There are still new girl/boy groups debuted every month, but the problem is that groups from lesser known companies barely receive recognition and people are too biased to what's main stream a.k.a what's hot. People may say that said groups don't do main stream, but the point is, main stream is not a genre. Something becomes main stream once it turns out to be popular. I mean, I used to listen to Crayon Pop even if their songs were a bit weird, but I still did because they were actually just as talented as any other group. Many fail to see other hidden talents these days which is a real shame and they also dismiss older artists as if they never existed.

It’s a little worrying that all the veterans left so fast and that they had already replaced everyone. But even as BP Rania they still had so much potential, but then they treated her poorly and probably even the other members and that’s when the group was dead. Whoever is managing RANIA now needs to get their shit together and get these girls back into K-POP and stop jerking them around. They also need to get their US debut nailed down. This is one group that I think could conceivably break into the US market. RANIA has a real good grasp of the English language. "Just Go", "Dr. Feel Good" and "Masquerade" are excellent examples. If you didn't know it, it would be difficult to say they're Korean. Their manager needs to spend the time, make the contacts and get the ball rolling.

Joy is is basically the face of Rania, and she thai so she attracted alot of Thai fans, she speaks 4 languages English, Thai, korean, and japanese. She was also a major in the groups dynamic internationally. but now we fear she not in the group anymore, she's been missing her family and isn't in good term with her company Dr.Music, even though she really is a valuable asset to the group.
