Challenging the legitimacy of asking God for signs in times of uncertainty.

Reinforcing that common occurrences in nature should be enough to understand life's simplicity.

Life's what you make it, don't let time take it
Encouraging to take control of one's own life and not let time and circumstances dictate it.

Stating the desire to be independent and true to oneself.

Clarifying that they are not attacking anyone directly but they are challenging their audience to think and respond to the lyrics.

Expressing the return of something/someone, without the previous baggage and stress.

Asserting the idea that even with a new beginning or new experiences one is still the same person, with the same values or attitudes.

Suggesting that people often do things that they claim not to want to do.

Asserting the idea of being self-sufficient and relying on oneself to succeed.

Affirming that the return in question happening whether people believe it or not.

Acknowledging a reluctance to speak about one's issues or problems.

Suggesting the value of becoming vulnerable and freeing oneself from negative emotions or experiences.

Comparing themselves to forbidden fruit and emphasizing the sense of emotional isolation and disconnection.

Reflecting on the idea that even if people do something of consequence, its effect is only temporary.

Expressing strength and the will to overcome and succeeded despite circumstances.

Stating that moving forward is still possible as long as hope still exists.

Describing an unusual and surreal moment or experience that is hard to explain or comprehend.

Stating that they can be perceived in either a positive or negative light.

Admitting to some pain or discomfort during difficult situations through the question if the audience understands the complex nature of the experience.

Acknowledging that crying does not necessarily alleviate the pain or solve the problem.

Asking if the audience wants the artist to solve their problems and free them from their emotional burden.

Suggesting that the artist would sacrifice aspects of their own life to be recognized by someone in particular.

Encouraging others to try and experience something themselves rather than assuming or relying on someone else's interpretation.

Drink for payback-
Alluding to the desire for retribution or revenge towards someone who has wronged you.

Blood sucker, suck me dry
Describing those who take advantage of others or drain them emotionally, as a form of vampirism.

It's my turn,
Asserting the need for personal growth and to stay true to oneself.

When your in the dust and your all alone it doesn't make a sound if you die
Reflecting on how people can feel unimportant or insignificant when they are going through difficult times.
