With the success of singles, Giving it up, and the worship infused, All You Are featuring Hillsong United, Rhema Soul was propelled to a new level, earning awards (Just Plain Folks Music Awards winners for Best Hip Hop album), nominations (The music video for Steez was nominated for Best Video by The Gospel Music Channel), and rave reviews on the web and in print.

Be sure to catch Rhema Soul at Rock the Universe (Universal Studios, Orlando) with Switchfoot, David Crowder Band, and Family Force Five.
Rhema Soul is currently in the studio with Dove Award winning producer Andy Anderson (Group One Crew, Toby Mac, Rachael Lampa) recording their biggest album yet, due out later this year through Black Fuel Music/Universal.
Shorty's Lost
Rhema Soul Lyrics

Shorty says she's a dime piece
Shorty says she's a queen
The way she rocks those hips, left to right, in those jeans
Short says she's a dime piece
Shorty says she's a queen
The way she rocks those hips, left to right, in those jeans
But shorty is lost, she's lost, she's so lost, so lost
Cause i wanna see your heart, i wanna see your mind,
Girl tell me your thoughts, you are so divine
But shorty is lost, so lost, she's so lost, so lost
Cause you don't have to show your body,
Cause you're wonderfully made, don't you know that?
Juanlove's verse:
I aint never seen a beauty like that, quite like that
The way she carries herself makes me wanna bounce right back
Cause she got the prada bag, with the designer jeans, but she is so much more, cause shorty is a queen
It's never been about your physical
You were made wonderful
God spent a little more time when he made you
Chorus
Shorty's never been with the g-styles,
You don't gotta dress down (down)
To make my head go round, round
I'm gonna show you how a christian do,
Treat a girl like she's mamadukes, give her roses & a lot of truth
Girl your smile oh so cute, never be lost cause
Christ found you, yeah
So shorty says she's a dime piece, yeah?
Well i aint never seen a dime like that, no no
You must be a nickel or a penny girl
So collect your call coins and add it up, girl
Cause you are worth more than that
Love shouldn't ever be just about that back, no
So you when you done adding up girl,
Just realize you are a true dime in this world girl
Chorus
The song "Shorty's Lost" by Rhema Soul expresses the idea that a woman's worth is not solely determined by her physical appearance. The lyrics describe Shorty, who is proud of her physical beauty and style, but she is also lost because she has focused too much on her external appearance and is not aware of her own self-worth. The song encourages Shorty to recognize that her true value lies in who she is as a person and not just in her looks. Juanlove's verse highlights that God created Shorty in a unique and wonderful way, and her value is not determined by her physical beauty, but by her inner qualities.
The lyrics also suggest that men have a role in promoting women's self-worth. They should treat women with respect and value them for who they are and not just for their external appearance. The song advocates for a shift in societal standards that places too much emphasis on superficial qualities and ignores the worth of individuals beyond their looks.
Overall, the song "Shorty's Lost" by Rhema Soul encourages women to recognize and celebrate their true value beyond their physical appearance and urges men to appreciate and respect women for who they are.

I've benen looking for this kind of Chrstian music for a while. The ironic thing about the song is that most songs that have this kind of flow emphasize on sucumbing to lust and talking of how 'sexy' women are. This song however tells girls that they don't have to do it and it explains just how God wants us as men to think of girls. BEAUTIFUL SONG
