Ricky Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Been friends for so long, and she staring at me hard
I'm laying on her bed, I think she wanna push the start
She said she heard some rumors about me, wanna play her part
She said she want it like she heard it in the last part (this part II)
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
Deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She love the way I grab her hair, love the way I grab her neck
I'll give you more than just a peck, give you everything my check
Now she tryna find her the everlasting new effect
Met her at the club and I pulled up with my crew
We locked in on each other and the rest is a clue
But for you I'm a kind man, I'm usually combining
My bitches like designing but you the one I'm signing
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
Deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
Yeah baby, you like that?
She like it fast like car that crash
Ending off in fire blast
News 10 nationwide broadcast
I love it move girl shake that ass
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She know how she want it
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow
Deep and slow
She want it deep and slow

She want it deep and slow
She want it deep and slow

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ricky's song "Two" describe a difficult decision that the singer must make between two different paths in life. He is uncertain of which way to go, one road leading to happiness and the other to loss. Feeling alone and unable to trust anyone, the singer must make the decision alone, with the fear of making the wrong choice looming over him. The chorus brings up the possibility of regret and sadness if he chooses the wrong path, but also holds onto the hope that he will find what he has been searching for, despite the uncertainty of his decision.

The second verse of the song touches on the fear of losing the love of another person and the loneliness that comes with it, but also highlights the beauty of Nashville and the wanderlust that can overcome someone who calls many places home. The final verse hints at a previous relationship that has ended, leaving the singer with regrets and the knowledge that you can't go back in time to make a different choice. The lyrics are emotional and introspective, acknowledging the difficulty that can come with making life-altering decisions.

Two highways lay before me
There are two roads that I can take.

Which one would I choose?
I must decide which road to take.

Down one lane I'd find happiness
One road leads to happiness.

The other road leads to loss.

Both options are bad.

Which road will take me home?

@@Igoruhandchu- 'Rocky 2' came out in 1979, actually...

'Rocky' came out in 1976.

Be that as it may, it's too bad that Tony "The Duke" Evers is no longer with us.

I completely forgot that he was a real-life boxer, also until after you said something about it.; I remember reading something about it, many years ago when I was in middle school because I love movie trivia/behind-the-scenes information/etc., but, it was so long ago, I literally forgot about it.

Thanks for the memory refresher...

R.I.P., Tony Burton.

@isaiahangelo

The reason people love Tony Duke so much as a character is that he’s the only real trainer who can see the potential in any fighter. What scared him about Rocky was evident from the first movie when he told Apollo then on three separate occasions that Rocky Balboa was the real deal

Occasion 1: when Apollo picked him out the book. Duke: “Nah he’s a southpaw. I don’t want you messin’ around with southpaws. They do everything backwards.

Occasion 2: Rocky’s interview in the 🥩 house when he was punching the slabs of 🥩. Duke(with a look of real concern on his face): “Hey champ! You better come look at this boy you gonna fight on TV. Looks like he means business

Occasion 3: the fight itself after the 1st round knockdown, the first of which Apollo has ever experienced at Rocky’s hands. Duke (with real concern and urgency): He doesn’t know it’s a damn show! He thinks it’s damn fight! Now finish this bum and let’s go home! End of the 14th round: “You’re bleeding inside champ! I’m gonna stop the fight!

Duke was the only one who truly knew from the beginning aside from Adrian that Rocky was a dangerous formidable fighter with something to prove who could be a champion.

Here after Carl Weather’s passing. RIP Carl. Your performance as Apollo Creed is timeless.

@ShadowYamoto

One of my favorite childhood actors. He's fortunate to have act with the two greatest action movie stars of this era; Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in 2 very memorable movies: Rocky II and Predator.

@crazyralph6386

This and Predator are two of his finest performances.

@veehzi5663

Apollo is a true champion and warrior. Once Tony admitted Rocky was a threat and a good fighter, Apollo couldn’t back down.
