On August 6, 2002, the band released their first full-length album entitled Hurry Up and Wait. The first single "I Feel Fine" became a quick success and was also featured in the 2002 movie Orange County. Additionally, the song "Pick Up the Pieces" was featured on the soundtrack for the video game ATV Offroad Fury 2, and in the movie Extreme Ops.
After touring heavily for two years, the band released their second album Stop the World on October 22, 2004. Unfortunately, this would mark the decline of the band. After touring for five years to support their two albums the band began to feel quite "burned out."
In August 2005, the band agreed to break up. Due to the quiet and sudden breakup of the band, most fans were unaware of the split. However the breakup was confirmed both on their official website and MySpace.
Following the break-up, Johnson formed the rock band New Disaster with Keel on drums. New Disaster released their first album mixed by Andy Johns and entitled Last Night Rites in February 2008 and then quickly released their follow up album Automanic in late 2009. Baker is currently working on a project entitled "Vegas Bomb", previously named "Twenty Questions" previously named "Clint's Junior Orchestra". Stroud formed Say Hello to the Angels, and is in the process of recording their debut album.
Baker also had a cameo appearance in the FOX hit TV show House. In addition, Paul Ebersold, the producer for two of the Riddlin' Kids' albums, helped to record the demos tracks for Baker's new project. Some of these songs may be part of the soundtrack for the new movie Weekend Junkies.
Just Another Day
Riddlin' Kids Lyrics

And nothin ever seems to change
And everything I love
I'm watchin waste away
So what's the matter with me?
I just can't fake it
And I don't want to believe
But this time I just can't take it
[Chorus]
Just another day in my life
I don't want to run out of time
I don't want to wake up some day
And all my life is wasted away
there's no much that I want to be
So everybody listen to me
there's no many things on my mind
Just another day in my life
Another day in my life
So what's the point in life
If you're not happy everyday
Well I could end it all and then they'd say
that's its so to believe
I always thought he'd make it
and now we never will get to see
well I guess he couldn't take it?
[Chorus]
So what's the matter with me?
I just can't fake it
And I don't want to believe
But this time I just can't take it
[Chorus]
Another day in my life
The lyrics to Riddlin' Kids's song "Just Another Day" depict the frustration and disillusionment felt by the singer towards their life. The opening lines reveal their sense of stagnation and hopelessness, where time seems to pass without making any significant changes. The singer then refers to the things they love, which are slowly fading away. They are unable to find a reason for their state of mind and are struggling to pretend that everything is okay. The chorus highlights their fear of running out of time and wasting their life away, with the singer expressing a desire to be honest with themselves and others about what they really want to achieve in their life. The second verse questions the point of life if one is not happy every day, while also referencing the option of ending it all. The chorus repeats, emphasizing the urgency and importance of taking control of one's life before it's too late.
Overall, the lyrics to "Just Another Day" offer a relatable insight into the human experience of feeling like life is passing by without any significant changes. It speaks to the expectation of constantly achieving happiness and success, while also encouraging honesty and self-awareness. The song urges listeners to take control of their lives and pursue what truly matters to them.
