D'autres ailes

De pauvres gars si je me niche
Dans leurs bras
Mais moi je m'en fiche
Ca c'est tout moi
C'est bien ma peine si je suis cap
De perdre haleine, le nord, le cap
C'est bien ma veine si l'on me zappe
{Refrain:}
J'n'ai plus qu'à reprendre tout mon bordel
Hmhm..
J'n'ai plus qu'à me pendre,
A d'autres ailes
Hmhmh..
Mais sans plus attendre
Sans plus attendre, me trouver belle
Ah..
Hmhm..
J'n'ai plus qu'à me pendre,
A d'autres ailes
Hmhmh..
Mais sans plus attendre
Sans plus attendre, me trouver belle
Ah..
Sans plus attendre me trouver belle
Sans plus attendre me trouver belle
Sans plus attendre me trouver belle
Dans d'autres yeux
Dans d'autres yeux
Dans d'autres yeux
Dans d'autres yeux
In "D'autres ailes," Rose uses her poetic and introspective style to sing about her acceptability of falling for the wrong men and getting involved with them, even if it leads to disappointment. In the first verse, Rose admits that she likes to get involved with men who may not be her equal in terms of social or economic status. She seems to suggest that this tendency is part of her personality and she doesn't care what others think of her. In the chorus, she resigns herself to picking up the pieces and moving on, finding solace in her own journey to self-love.
The second verse is about Rose trying to manage her ego, even though she knows it can be a struggle. She humbly recognizes that she can be irritating, and that in trying to please others, she may end up looking foolish. Rose seems to appeal to those who make fun of her or underestimate her worth, suggesting that she won't be broken by their taunts. In the chorus, Rose once again resigns herself to her fate, conceding that she must continue on her journey to self-love, regardless of setbacks or disappointments.
Overall, "D'autres ailes" is a moving and introspective song that touches on themes of self-acceptance, self-love, and the struggle to find one's place in the world. Rose's lyrics and vocal delivery are hauntingly beautiful, drawing listeners in with their poetic simplicity and honesty.
