Durante esse mês, Felipe colocou um anúncio na internet procurando interessados para formar a banda. No dia 22 de janeiro a banda se reuniu para o primeiro ensaio com a formação de Felipe(baixo), Erica(vocal), Demian(bateria), Yuri(guitarra) e Alex(teclado). Apenas meses depois a banda adota o nome de Rosier. Após seis meses de ensaios, em junho, gravam a primeira demo em estúdio: Fukai Mori, e o site é criado. Em julho, gravam a segunda demo: Ai no Heart Ai no Hoshi. Em setembro, a formação inicial é alterada, com a mudança de guitarrista, chegando à formação atual: Felipe (baixo), Erica (vocal), Alex (teclado), Demian (bateria) e Leandro (guitarra). Com mais de um ano de existência, a banda continua aumentando seu repertório para divulgar a j-music, que aos poucos ganha espaço no cenário musical brasileiro.
