Ryan grew up on a horse farm in Ocala, Florida. He moved to Nashville when he was 18 and learned the ins and outs of the music industry at Belmont University. He then experienced the management side of the business when he hit the road as a tour manager for Jason Aldean.
But management is not Ryan’s dream…entertaining is. He continues to perform and has done so in front of countless strangers-turned-fans across the Southeast. That's what having a voice that industry leaders describe as amazing, infectious and, most importantly, unique will accomplish.
His voice and talent are well defined in his new project, Dreams. It's adventurous in "Slide," heartbroken in "If I Didn't Feel" and unwavering in "Don't Turn Around.” Ryan describes this project as “everything I’ve been working for…it has my style, sound, and the positive message I want people to hear.”

Grabbin' my arm, leanin' in on me
We should be running for cover
But we were holding each other
Fallin' from the sky to the ground
Yeah, the rain made a beautiful sound
But our heartbeats were so loud
They drowned everything else out
I can't forget they way you were kissin' my lips
The way you felt on my skin, no
Yeah, that young love
It'll mess ya up
The first time you try to chase
But nothing can replace
That young love
Stuck in that young love
Just falling to get over
Trying to recover from
That young love
Stuck in that young love
It's the first time that lasts
The one that you want back
But you can't have it back, can't re-do
Can't erase the past
It's a part of who you are
All grown up with a broken heart
ADVERTISING
Those streetlights turn to stars
In the middle of the city with you in my arms
Everybody thought we were crazy
But we weren't looking for safety
We were young and naive
Thought we knew everything
But we didn't know anything at all
'Cause in that moment
I could feel my heart stop (man)
I never felt so alive
That young love
Stuck in that young love
Just falling to get over
Trying to recover from
That young love
Stuck in that young love
It's the first time that lasts
The one that you want back
But you can't have it back, can't re-do
Can't erase the past
It's a part of who you are
All grown up with a broken heart
Mmm
If young love isn't real love
Then why does it hurt so bad?
No
I said if young love isn't real love
Then why does it hurt so bad?
No
That young love
Stuck in that young love
Oh, falling to get over
Trying to recover from
That young love
Stuck in that young love
It's the first time that lasts
The one that you want back
But you can't have it back, can't re-do
Can't erase the past
It's all part of who you are
We're all grown up with a broken heart
(If young love isn't real love
Then why does it hurt so bad?)
With a broken heart
We're all part of that young love
(If young love isn't real love
Then why does it hurt so bad?)
No
We're all part of that young love
We're caught up in that young love
The song "Young Love" by Ryan Griffin is about the intensity and passion of young love, and how it can be all-consuming and unforgettable. The first verse describes a moment when the world around the singer and their partner disappears, and all they can hear are their own heartbeats. The chorus repeats the phrase "that young love," emphasizing that this kind of love is unique and powerful, and the memories it creates can stay with us long after we've moved on. The second verse acknowledges the naivete that often comes with young love and the perception that you know everything, even though the singer now realizes they didn't really know anything at all. The bridge poses a rhetorical question, wondering why young love hurts so much if it isn't "real" love, but the song doesn't offer a definitive answer. The final repetition of "we're all part of that young love" suggests that this kind of love is a shared experience that many people can relate to.
Overall, the lyrics to Ryan Griffin's "Young Love" capture the intensity and bittersweetness of young romance. It's a time when everything feels heightened and the world seems to revolve around one person, but it's also a time of growth and learning.
