Pulling from a diverse list of influences, their sound can be described as somewhere between At The Drive In and Low; melodic rock with an equal affinity for noise and harmonies. Members of the original lineup first started playing and writing music together in Seattle in the early part of 2008. The name 'Sad Face' was first used for a March 2010 performance in Seattle, the first live performance for the group as a full ensemble. In May of 2010, bass player Jeremy Mendonsa left the band and was replaced by Max Larkin. Sad Face is:
Joe Jellema - Vocals, Drums
Max Larkin - Vocals, Guitars, Bass
Joel Katzenberger - Vocals, Guitars, Percussion
Nick Mendonsa - Vocals, Loops, Guitars
Tim Mendonsa - Vocals, Guitars, Bass
The band recorded their first album at Avast! studios in Seattle over three days in October of 2010. The recordings were all done as live performances, with 7 songs completed in the studio. Instrumental and vocal overdubs for 'To Use Another' were recorded later with the help of their recording, mixing and mastering engineers Johny Mendoza and Vincent Labelle. Johny Mendoza and Vincent LaBelle were also recorded as guest vocalists for 'To Use Another' along with drummer Christopher Icasiano (Speak, Bad Luck, Anomie Belle). The resulting album, 'Gosh Darn!', was released on May 31st, 2011.
Sad Face continues to perform in the Seattle area and will begin touring around the Pacific Northwest in the late summer of 2011. The group is expected to release an E.P. in the fall of 2011.

Happy Sunday everyone! Spread the love ❤️
Also, apologies about the reupload to whoever is getting the notification a second time. I messed up some editing on the previous video.
I am aware I used this image before so no need to point it out 😊

As you're sleeping, I'm wide awake.
And I'm counting the breaths you take.
While I'm waiting for you to wake.
Can't help thinking you won't one day.
You won't one day.
You won't one day.
You won't one day.....

Just keep holding on. Life isn’t just uphill, eventually you’ll reach the top, and once your there, things will get better♥️
@MrSuicideSheep
This is so important to remember. Thank you!
@Shyning
Just went through another chasm, worse than a mere downhill. Times are hard in addition to that, still looking forward to the future.
Music is part of my uphill fuel, Sheepy is part of it and your kind of nice, optimism-fueled comments are as well.
Life is a fight, the world is not against you but you'll always need to fight for it nonetheless, stay strong y'all, have a good time listening to this nice song 😉

Shyning life is kinda tough right now, and believing in this keeps me going. You have to believe in something, otherwise what do you have?
