Is this the way to nowhere land?
You never seen the sky like this
You never wanna die like this
Comets falling for the earth
Is this the end or a rebirth?
You never seen the sky like this
Mother, are we flying through the universe?
Are we dying through the universe?
Fire burning on the sun
It's killing almost everyone
You never seen the sky like this
You never wanna die like this
Dancing in the acid rain
That's falling on the streets of shame
You never seen the sky like this
You never wanna die like this
Mother, are we flying through the universe?
Are we dying through the universe?
We are crying to you
Mother, are we flying through the universe?
Are we dying through the universe?
Mother, are we flying through the universe?
Are we dying through the universe?
We are crying to you
Mother, are we flying through the universe?
Are we dying in the universe?
Comets falling for the earth
Is this the end or a rebirth?
You never seen the sky like this
You never wanna die like this
The lyrics to "Universe" by Scars on Broadway depict a apocalyptic vision of the world coming to an end. The line drawn in the sand represents the finality of a decision that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity. The question posed in the first stanza of "Is this the way to nowhere land?" represents a fear of the unknown, of what lies beyond the horizon. The singer laments that they have never seen the sky like this, indicating that something has gone horribly wrong with the atmosphere. They never want to die like this, suggesting that the end of the world is not a peaceful, tender death but a violent and painful one.
The second stanza uses the metaphor of comets falling for the earth to convey the sense that something catastrophic is happening. Again, the singer wonders if this is the end or a rebirth, attempting to hold onto some sense of hope that a new beginning is possible. However, the repeated refrain of "you never seen the sky like this" recalls the earlier line drawn in the sand, indicating that this is not a hopeful outlook. The third and fourth stanzas continue this theme, with fire burning on the sun and acid rain falling on the streets of shame. The singer poses the same question to their mother, wondering if they are flying or dying through the universe. The final stanza repeats the same question, providing a somber but ultimately unresolved ending.

He just said it. Space is faster than light. That said anything that is old as the universe we still can see becasue it omitted light at the start of the big bang.
Unless it is newer than the universe and formed much earlier. Yet in that case it would be much closer.
The further out the older not newer. So not only would it have enough time for the light to get to the earth. At one point it was few light years from the same spot we are at now.
They keep mixing logics.
I think they keep doing double talk. either because we don't know where the center of the universe started or because the concept of a limited universe is too much for the human brain. Even though a big bang theory demands it.

Will 2 galaxies, moving away from each other at the speed of light, see the lights emitted by those galaxy? Meaning one galaxy moving at light speed on way and the other galaxy also moving at light speed the other way, meaning the speed between would be 2x light speed.

I would have to say if they had started from the same place and time that yes they should and I believe that you could either prove or disprove it by just doing the math

Mainzer in the used denim painting shirt made my day. These scientists are so attractive due to their intelligence - it’s unfair that they also get to be cute and quaint. In another way, the lovers of science have all been on this journey together for decades and we feel like a family. I hope to see her when we’re like 95 and she rolls out in a hover chair next to Brian Cox to explain teleportation.

Agreed. Amy Mainzer has long been a heart throb of mine.
