I can't deny the rear is an ugly ass back, but how often do we check out the back? In Korea we all reverse park too, so always see the front and side and a quick glance of the back when loading the trunk. I like the front design, big fan of the retro futuristic look. Got used to the boxy element. But definitely space, comfort and tech are big winners on this oh and price point in comparison to others eg...Genesis GV80, Kia EV9 or any German SUV's. Design imo is still better than the new Sorento and Palisade. I'm very seriously looking at this now. Thanks for the amazing review!

Thanks for watching the video. Absolutely, if I think about it, I would hardly see the rear as a driver of the car except the time when you load and unload things in the trunk. Just like you said, everything that is inside the car is what make the new Santa Fe a winner! My wife still talks about the Santa Fe. Out of all those vehicles she has been till now, the Santa Fe was most memorable she said. Thanks for sharing your opinion Kenneth!

This all new Santa Fe is using the same platform as Sorento facelift, right? If so, it's quite a bigger and heavier than Sorento. Do you have any information about all new Santa Fe suúpension? Do they have any improvement on that? In my country, most Santa Fe have a problem with rear suspension.

Thanks for watching the video. You might see it differently, but I found it practical. Folding the 3rd row when not in use and using the space as however one likes was pretty handy while testing. Personally, 5 seater, the 2nd row is too back to back to sit side by side, and the 3rd row was similar to the 7 seater. Personally, I liked the 6 seater. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

At this price point they’re all gonna be garbage. But let’s face it, people be gonna taking their kids to school, get groceries and whatnot in it and listen to the radio while doing it. And that Bose will be fine for that.

@@jkay303 Sorry but you're wrong. My 2018 XC60 is considered the best in the business In terms of audio quality and its in the same price bracket with this Santa Fe. Actually all Volvos equipped with B&W speakers have top notch sound quality. Its about how much manufacturers care about it. I agree that Bose will be ok for most people.

@@seaneckhart9914 oh yeah? well you`re wrong buddy! that out of the way: the B&W in the Volvos are widely considered the best sound systems in any car regardless of pricepoint, beating even the Burmesters in Mercs (heard the one in the C-Class and was VERY underwhelmed, so i took mine to an audiospecialist to get a true audiophile system installed, and yes, i`m fully aware that you can`t get audiophile quality in a metal box that rumbles down a road). Anyway i should have specified and added to my original comment "pricepoint AND target audience/customer" because i agree it`s about how much a manufacturer cares and they only care if they think their customers will appreciate the immense r&d costs good audio adds. I think volvo customers do care, most other brands customer base doesnt and will easily be impressed by the number of speakers and name on the speaker grill to brag to the neigbours about it. Let`s be honest your hearing will degrade by age 35 (i think) anyway, so the typical buyer of a new premium SUV won`t hear the difference anyway. Add garbage bitrate streaming services and it matters even less. By the way sound is so important to me that thats one reason i`m sticking with my 2015 C-Class as these modern infotainmentsystems are hard to upgrade aftermarket. I was looking at a V90 CC Diesel for that reason. But they are rare and expensive here in germany... hope that clarifys things! I hope savagegeese reviews the new santa fe as they add a professional audio analysis to their reviews

Thanks for watching the video. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but if you compare the Santa Fe to REXTON, the Santa Fe wins regardlessly. I filmed the REXTON KHAN(pick up truck like Chevy Colorado)for about 5 days. I understand why people choose to buy Hyundai and Kia for sure. I am not saying the KG Mobility is not a good car manufacturer, but then when it comes to quality, it was no near Hyundai and Kia. One thing about the REXTON is that it has really strong and durable engine, but everything else, Hyundai and Kia win(keep in mind that this is my personal opinion as a reviewer who has driven many different cars and SUVs)
