Vivaldi is never boring, especially these bassoon gems, each so unique. many thanks!

This is not only the best playing of any Vivaldi concertos I have heard, it is some of the most astonishing playing in baroque music I have heard. I hope everyone who listens to this will go off and buy the disks, as I am going to.

I've actually played some of the other woodwinds the myth is they're about equal (and that's the composer of Scheherezade XD) but I can't get into the others like bassoon

A very dramatic bassoonist... always in complete control of his sound and ideas. Utmost respect for him.

Not only does Azzolini sound amazing in everything he plays, but here are TWENTY SIX concerti. That an insane amount.
Most musicians will never perform that many different concerti in his life. Not only that, but of relevant solo literature, Vivaldi covers numerically a majority of it.
I’m not sure this next statement is completely accurate but I’d estimate by playing all 39 of Vivaldi’s concerti for bassoon, one (as in Azzolini) would have played nearly half of all bassoon concerti that one can get their hands on
