Seventh Star has toured the US several times and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Sick of it All, Blood for Blood, Shai Hulud, Most Precious Blood, Comeback Kid and As I Lay Dying.
2004 was a turning point for Seventh Star. After returning from a winter tour in 2003 with Hoods and Haste the Day, Seventh Star were three members and one van short of a touring band. They took a hiatus in 2004 to re-group and resurfaced with singer Johnny Intraivaia and guitarist Chase Moore.
With this solidly dedicated line-up, Seventh Star plowed through 2005 releasing their heaviest, most dynamic album to date, “Brood of Vipers".
After a European tour they recorded "The Undisputed Truth" and released it on Facedown Records in 2007.
March.29th will be their last show in 2008, They have announced that they will no longer be a band after Facedown Fest.
Just wanted to add that they announced that they will be breaking up as of March 2008.
First Rains
Seventh Star Lyrics

My arms in the air
Face to the sun
Content within my own
Not knowing the color of night
On the horizon
Dark clouds billowed forth
I shouted for joy as I always had
But the rains did not stop
My joy turned to horror
The thunder clapped
The lightening struck
Waters raised in the valleys below
The innocent died
The women cried
Currents destroyed everything
But the biggest house on the highest hill
At first I wept for day
Then I cursed the rain
Then I hated the name
Of the one who brought me pain
For the first time I saw black
In the abyss around me
No longer did I love the sun
But I wished to be one with the dark
As I descended off my plank
I could see my fickle heart
Between the white of foam
And the waves of dark
And the rains died down
A new light after the rains came down
Seventh Star's song "First Rains" is a powerful and poignant depiction of the devastating effects of nature on both humanity and the soul. The lyrics describe a person standing on the top of the highest hill in their world, filled with contentment, and basking in the warmth of the sun. However, their moment of bliss is abruptly interrupted as dark clouds appear on the horizon and the rain pours down relentlessly. The initial jubilant reaction turns into horror as they witness the destructive power of rain - the innocent die, and the women cry. The rains eventually stop, and the person is left with a deep sense of despair and confusion. They curse the rain and the one who brought them pain, and for the first time, they see blackness, emptiness, and nothing but abyss surrounding them. They can no longer love the sun, but they desire to be one with the darkness.
The song cleverly uses the metaphor of rain and storm to convey how life can suddenly take a turn for the worse and leave us hopeless and vulnerable. It highlights the human tendency to focus only on the positive, ignoring the dark clouds that can emerge at any moment. The song suggests that sometimes it's essential to experience pain and devastation to appreciate the good things fully. The lyrics also provide a strong commentary on how we deal with difficult times, suggesting that for some, it's easier to embrace darkness and despair.
