Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
This is my life
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
It seems like yesterday
It's crazy how the time flies
All of my niggas been gone
I sit back and think about my past
And where I came from
A lot of fake friends
With two faces
Couldn't take it
Back to the basics
I upgraded you outdated
How you still doing the bullshit
You did back in high school
Never mind you cause there's more important things on my table
I got four mouths to feed
My whole house gone eat
I think you need to look up at the mirror and go ask yo self
Is it you or me
You got to earn responsibilities
Don't let your problems sink beneath
Your feet
Keep it G
No time to wait I'm on business
I see my mission
Imma get it by any means
I ain't got no time for failures
I got one life to live
So every moment to me is precious
Everybody get tested in life it's trail and tribulations
Always keep yo head up through the bullshit and pain
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
Living in a world that's so green
What happened to genuine
Everybody want to talk money now
Come around act funny style
Never been the the type to every sell out for a bag
Never been the type that every snake my friends for cash
It's just paper that's printed
People be praise it like god
When you die
It's no ransoms for what yo soul did in the life
I'm alright and content
It's so many people that struggle
Thankful for my blessing
The greed turn people to animals
Do you know the real reason why your here for
Every human that's created has a purpose
Don't feel worthless
Strive and reach
Until you hit the surface
Don't stop and push
We all need a lil love
Too many slugs in these guns now
Own people getting gun downed
How you turn yo gun on him
But then you run from the police
This is the life and the world we living in
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
Is this my life
The closet one I had all disappeared
Trying to stay disciplined in a world that don't give a fuck
I see many come
Wearing fake smiles
Are you down
Are just trying to use me for material gains
Is this my life
Yeah yeah yeah
Is this my life
Um um um
Is this my life

Yeah yeah
Yeah yeah

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Shot-C's song "Life Is A Highway" delve deep into the artist's reflections on their own life journey and the challenges they face in a world that often lacks authenticity and genuine connections. The repetition of the phrase "Is this my life" throughout the song conveys a sense of questioning and self-doubt, as the artist grapples with the disappearance of close relationships and the prevalence of superficiality in their surroundings.

The artist expresses a feeling of isolation and vulnerability, noting how they see many individuals wearing "fake smiles" and questioning whether others are sincere in their intentions or simply using them for personal gain. This sense of mistrust and disillusionment with the world reflects a struggle to maintain discipline and integrity amidst a society that appears indifferent and opportunistic.

As the song progresses, the artist reflects on their past and the influences of fake friends and deceitful individuals in their life. They emphasize the importance of staying true to oneself and not succumbing to the same negative patterns of behavior exhibited by others. The artist highlights the need to prioritize responsibilities and focus on personal growth, acknowledging the importance of self-reflection and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Ultimately, the lyrics convey a message of resilience and determination, as the artist asserts their commitment to overcoming obstacles and pursuing their goals despite the challenges they encounter. The song serves as a reminder to stay true to one's values, to navigate through life's trials and tribulations with integrity, and to find strength in embracing one's purpose and blessings. @EconomiVision What does family values and media digestion have to do with this?

The firearm may or may not be legally owned. Chances are, it is legally owned. When we compare legal vs illegal firearm ownership in this country, also when we compare legal vs illegal ownership of mass shooters, most often they are legally owned.

A responsible, trained, licensed, insured adult firearm owner would more likely than not operate and store their firearm safely.

Just as a responsible, trained, licensed, insured adult more likely than not operates vehicles safely.

There will be exceptions to bot cases.

We need to recognize guns for what they are. Tools. But tools with only one purpose, to kill. That should not be a tool that we take lightly. And yet . . . more mass shootings this year than there are days in this year. An anomaly that only we encounter, and we do so as a routine.

god is in churches, so I am told. Yet several of the higher profile shootings, just from this year, happened in churches.

It is not mental health, or god in schools, or family values, or media consumption that is the issue. It is our reckless adoration of guns.

Grand theft auto is coming true. It's not the game that caused it, but it was the normalization of violence and Godlessness as a whole. We are living in predicted times.

We need to start holding the judicial system accountable for its inability to do its job! There should be accountability for these judges !

Jim

That’s NOT assault!! It’s attempted MURDER.

jenni Turtle burger

That is insanity. Some people should not own guns. This is a highly chargeable offense.
