Originally SFTS was founded under the name "Knights of the round" in 2007 soon after Seishirox went back to Japan after living in US. Seishirox is the only original member and also the founder. the other player keep changing. At the end of 2008 the name was change into SFTS as we know now. And so officially Silhouette from the skylit was formed in Fukuoka at the end of 2008
Around that time Tetsurow joint & they released their demo with 4 song "Expected answer"
Kou join at 2009 as a support member. They released 1st demo "Everywhere". Later in 2010 Rockwell join after the first guitarist left the band.

They played as an opening act for the band called "We the Kings" from US on their 1st time to come to Japan at September 2010
They had sponsored after a succes first live at May 2011.
All the member then moved to Tokyo and has been based there ever since and announced their first official Music Video “Fake and going fo fade” in October 2011
At December 2011, they released their first official EP “ The Great and Desperate”

Silhouette from the Skylit brings a type of hard rock music with a strong harmony.
Which composition is characterized by a dynamic guitar playing with different sounds to make songs sound festive with various stuffing on the guitar & programing sound.
Rockwell has been given a big influence in the current SFTS music character & sound, as inclusion of more color in their music and arranging style.
Singing in both Japanese & English, thanks to Seishirox’s living experienced in US which made him fluent in english and familiar with the global music trend. No wonder that SFTS music sound more "global" than a typically Japanese music sound without leaving the characteristic of Japanese music tune. Enable to reach a wider audience.
Silhouette from the Skylit is aiming to reach the audience further than in local Japan alone, but also overseas internationally.
