Folk, blues, psychedelic chamber music of an independent nature. Half-way between the old dressed up as new and the new, used but never obvious. A hybrid crossroads between a minstrel and an entertainer, accompanied by an obsessive and shaky rhythm section. A dark-tinted return to roots, mixed with slide, harmonics, suspended notes and open tunings. Two voices with guitars packaging a home-made sound, backs turned on a proper band as such. Tracks loaded with cigarettes, microphone tricks, accents, simple, gaunt but never empty: with a lo-fi sound that rules the show and a background of reverberating voices on suffused lights with shades of melancholy.
