this is my first time really listening to this song. actually, my crush brought me here, sabi niya kantahin ko raw para sa kanya. ang familiar ng kanta pero ngayon lang nagsink-in ang lyrics sa akin.

i’ve liked this person for 6 years, just like the song “i’m endlessly waiting for you.” — naalala ko tuloy kung paano ko siya ginusto/nagustuhan: first year high school ako noon at siya third year naman, instrumentalist siya ng school at nagreready kami for mass. amidst the crowd, sa kanya nagfocus ang paningin ko— how he breathtakingly strummed his guitar and smiled every time he finished a song without flaws. after nun, lagi ko na siyang nakikita. he didn’t know me back then, and it was okay. masaya akong pinagmamasdan lang siya from afar.

as years went by, my ‘infatuation’ for him went deeper and deeper, to the point na parang pagmamahal na. he got into different relationships and finished many achievements, i was there for him, always, supporting from afar. i am always so proud of him, and that will never change. lagi kong pinapagalitan sarili ko nun na ang tanga tanga ko naman ma-fall sa taong hindi naman ako kilala. kahit nagka-long term girlfriend na siya, go pa rin ako. nagpapahinga rin ako minsan pero di ako tumitigil. hiyang-hiya lang talaga kasi ako sa sarili ko kaya wala akong tapang magpakilala sa kanya noon.

pero fast forward to now, 2020, we are facing a pandemic now, people are dying and the Philippines is on lockdown. i was supposed to be graduating this year pero it got postponed. i took this month-long quarantine as an opportunity to confess (i’m still a coward kasi sa messenger ko pa talaga ginawa) and all i can say is: i think things are going pretty well, kahit napakaduwag ko at takot akong magreply. alam ko may gusto siyang iba pero i am willing to wait for him to like me back.

i’ve liked him for 6 years, a little more waiting wouldn’t hurt.

listening to this song gives me mixed feelings, why this song? favorite ba niya to? or may ipinaghahalintulad ba siya? in the future, babalikan ko tong comment na to kung anong nangyari/mangyayari sa relasyon namin. wish me luck.

Everything just seems to be tougher for me since lately. I'm actually listening to this song rn while writing my entry here in my uhm I don't know what to call this but maybe, an 'outlet diary', I must say.
I'm clinically diagnosed with depression and anxiety pero tbh, I stopped taking meds not only because it is too pricey (which i could buy a lot of stuff from the money instead, stuff that could make me happy), but also because i just felt like it doesn't work because of the environment I am at.
I've been experiencing suicidal tendencies ever since almost 2 years ago. They just got lessened as I saw a person from my past, just came back and gave me a reason to live. Not that he really did gave me a reason, but it is that I just found it in him. We've known each other for almost four years but lost our connection after the 1st year. Until our paths crossed again, during the most unexpected days of my life.
And from that day, we, again, shared moments. Happy moments. Sad moments. Crazy moments. Name it all.
Just to add, he's not like all of these typical guys and almost all of those who know him def knows it too. He's more mysterious, more serious, and I can say, most unstable, compared to me. But yeah, he's def witty. :)
