Skrillex Lyrics

Yes, oh my god
Look at this, I'm a coward too
You don't need to hide, my friend
For I'm just like you
The lyrics to "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" by Skrillex express a sense of vulnerability and shared fear. The lines "Look at this, I'm a coward too, you don't need to hide, my friend, for I'm just like you" suggest that the singer recognizes the fear and uncertainty that the listener may be experiencing and wants to empathize with them. The repetition of this phrase, including the exclamation "Yes, oh my god," adds emphasis to the message of solidarity between the singer and the listener.
The use of the words "scary monsters and nice sprites" in the title of the song and the chorus can be interpreted in many ways, but one interpretation is that they represent the duality of life. It's easy to see the monster side of things, to feel scared or overwhelmed, but there is also a lighter, more positive side that can be found if we look for it. The lyrics of the song suggest that the singer is willing to face the scary monsters and find the nice sprites, and encourages the listener to do the same.
Overall, the message of "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" seems to be one of comfort and encouragement in the face of fear. Rather than trying to pretend that fear doesn't exist, the song acknowledges it and encourages the listener to be brave and find the positivity that still exists in life.

@NeptuneFusion As someone who used to hate this remix, I understand. But now years later I realize how truly spectacular this remix is. One day I hope you'll understand.

@NeptuneFusion Clearly you don't like slower tracks such as this. Which is understandable. I used to like fast paced songs years ago, but I just grew out of them I guess.

I heavily disagree. This song is way to long and way to boring. The intro alone is 4 minutes and 35 seconds long!! Its crap. The original is 100000 times better than this
