Arcadia Landing has been described in many different ways; rock, pop punk, experimental, alternative rock, but screw genres of music they just play rockin music. They are band from Providence, Rhode Island area. Morphing between moments of Pink Floydian Spaciness, raging hard rock and hard-grooving Police-style pop, Arcadia Landings sound really features something for everybody.. Block Island Music Festival.
The band consists of four original members; Nate Powers on Guitar and vocals, Seth Printer on guitar and vocals as well, Chris Benson on the drums, and Jay Blinkhorn on bass. Arcadia Landing (then slik willy) was named Best Local Act in 2005 from the FNX/Budwiser - Best Music Poll. They have played with bands such as Story of the year, Fall Out Boy, Senses Fail, Say Anything, Lost Prophets, RX Bandits, Catch 22, Hot Rod Circuit, Spitalfield, The Reunion show, Big D and the Kids table, Piebald, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Emanuel, A Static Lullaby and more!
They have been together rocking strong since 1999 and just released a new album during late November of 2006. It is their first album under the name Arcadia Landing.
