Smokey Robinson and The Miracles Lyrics

I treated you bad
And wrong my dear
And since
Yeah, since you been away
Dontcha know
I sit around
With my head hangin' down
Who's lovin' you
I, I, I, I, I should have never ever
Never never made you cry
And since
Girl since you been gone
Dontcha know
I sit around
With my head hangin' down
And oh, I wonder
Who's lovin' you
Life without love
Is oh so lonely
I don't think that I
I'm gonna make it
All my life
All my life, yeah
Belongs to you only
Come on and take it girl
Come on and take it
Because
All, all I
All I can do, all I can do
Since you been gone is cry
And it's you, you, oooh
Yeah I wonder
And worry about what I do
Don't you know I
Sit around
Oh, with my head hangin' down
And wonder
Who's lovin' you
(Who's lovin you)

When I had you here
Back when we were together
I treated you bad
I didn't treat you well
And wrong my dear
And I did things that hurt you
And since
Since you left
Yeah, since you been away
Since you've been gone
Dontcha know
Do you know
I sit around
I spend a lot of time doing nothing
With my head hangin' down
Feeling sad and down
And I wonder
And think about
Who's lovin' you
Who you are with now
I, I, I, I, I should have never ever
I deeply regret
Never never made you cry
Caused you sadness and tears
Girl since you been gone
Since you left
Life without love
Being alone is miserable
Is oh so lonely
Is very sad and isolating
I don't think that I
I don't believe that I
I'm gonna make it
Can survive it
All my life
For my entire existence
All my life, yeah
For as long as I live
Belongs to you only
Is meant for you and no one else
Come on and take it girl
Please come back to me

All I can do
The only thing I can do
Since you been gone is cry
Since you left, I have been crying
And it's you, you, oooh
It's because of you
Yeah I wonder
I think about
And worry about what I do
And I am anxious about my actions
Don't you know I
Do you realize that I
Sit around

And think about
Who's lovin' you (Who's lovin you)
Who is with you now, who is loving you

in the words of Smokey "I couldn't believe a lil kid could sing that song with so much emotion! It was incredible for me, as a songwriter, to see my song performed so well"
@bryani2449
Yes this is the original and props to it and Smokey's voice is just absolutely amazing, But little Michael Jackson omg he sang it with so much more soul
@beverlyharris9859
Thank you Smokey Bill. SENSATIONAL BEAUTIFUL HEAVENLY AWESOME!!!!
@hdclark09
from what I understand. Smoky said that he thought Michael did a great job, for someone who had never experienced that kind of love...But I am a firm believer that you can look at kids sometimes and see that they have an old soul...I think Michael had such a soul...

Going through a divorce listening to Smokey’s amazing words keep me strong. I cannot wait until my 3 sons grow bigger and I can show them this music and educate them on real music that means something deep in the heart and soul. God bless anyone on here 🙏
