Son of a 1000 is a band reborn from 70's Rock, Funk, Soul and Latin influences. Migrating from the incredibly successful "Son of a 1000 blues" originally started by Federico Fernandez (lead guitar) in 2004, the brand new line-up brought a freshness and zest which needed to be announced with a new name. Son of a 1000, a name which cannot describe the creative dynamic of this 4 piece more accurately, is truly one soul from a multitude of musical styles and era's.
The band consist of Lead Vocalist Shaun Parsons, Dave Munn on drums, Andre Hurter on Bass and Federico on Guitars. All of them are multi talented artists, playing more than one instrument, and entertaining audiences with more than just good music. Good looks are also part of this package with Federico being a Cosmopolitan sexiest man of 2011 finalist and lets not forget to mention the electrifying stage performances that could be rated amongst the best in the country.
