To find my way back again
I don't know where I'm from
I don't know where to begin
I'VE LOST MYSELF
I KNOW I COULD, BUT IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER
I'VE LOST MY SAY
I'VE LOST MY THINKING
I KNOW I SHOULD
I've been running for so long
To find my way back again
Now I know I have to be strong
So I can be just the same
The lyrics to Sparzanza's song Logan's Run seem to be about a lost individual, a person who has been trying to find their way back after being lost for so long. The singer admits that they don't know where they are from or where to begin in their search for identity. The repetition of the phrase "I've lost my way" emphasizes the singer's confusion and helplessness.
The chorus seems to suggest that the singer has lost control and direction in their life. They know what they should do, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. They have lost their voice and their ability to think, highlighting a feeling of powerlessness. However, the singer seems to be determined to find their way back and become strong once again. The final line suggests that they want to return to who they were before they became lost.
The song's title, Logan's Run, comes from a 1967 novel written by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson, which was adapted into a film in 1976. The story takes place in a dystopian future society where people must die when they reach the age of 30. The song does not reference the plot directly, but the idea of feeling lost and trying to find one's way back can be seen as a parallel to the main character's struggle to escape his predetermined fate.
