Well, soon enough we’ll have some actual music to replace our imagination.
That group now has a name, Spencer P. Jones and The Nothing Butts, with a debut album in the can and due November 9 through Shock Records, with a single and tour plans to be announced shortly.
A press release about the new Aussie rock supergroup details how that Baker, while on tour with his outfit The Painkillers, hitched a ride with Spencer P. Jones to help out with his solo project, recording at Andrew McGee’s Empty Room studios. “Keen to transform the moment into a fully-fledged project, McGee called up his neighbours Liddiard and Kitschin to help out; the pair accepted the invitation, and jumped in the car to join Jones and Baker in the studio.”
What could have been a one-off collaborative event has turned into something more committed, with the quartet reconvening “twice more over the next year,” according to a statement from the band, to put together “an intense collage of Jones’ tales of love, betrayal and emotional turmoil,” described as “a journey through the brooding recesses of the human psyche.”

I'll try find your love looking in your eyes, ahhhh
Don't worry, we're gonna be fine
Give me your hands 'cause now we're gonna fly, ahhhhh
Quería ser tu corazón y palpitar
Para formar una canción
Suspirar
I don't get it, the next time
I'll try find your love looking in your eyes, ahhhh
Don't worry, we're gonna be fine
Give me your hands 'cause now we're gonna fly, ahhhhh
Quería ser tu corazón y palpitar
Para formar una canción
Desvanecer nuestro dolor de soledad
Suspirar
