While I swim against the stream of things I don’t love
It keeps flowing back to me
For how long can I keep fighting, till I’m free? If I Hold onto the lies that deceive
Is it over now?
My heart is on fire, dancing Is it over now?
My heart is on fire, dancing with the wind
I keep my arms crossed Please open up my door It can't be unlocked when I'm afraid of letting go
Is it over now?
My heart is on fire, dancing Is it over now?
My heart is on fire, dancing with the wind

The singer realizes that despite their efforts, they continue to encounter situations or people that bring negativity into their life.
